  1. I saw a deer by Vortex. Just outside the fence by the station. I also saw chipmunks by Zephyr, AE, Skyline Chili, Vortex... I think they're based in Flight Commander's old queue.
  2. I average 2 hours from Lexington, KY. My record time is 1 hour and 43 minutes. (Yes, I timed myself.)
  3. I love AE! Don't be fooled by its small stature, it's a great ride. I look forward to seeing the refurbishment this weekend.

  5. The name says it all. Flight Commander, too, if only for the awesome queue.
  6. Woot! This makes my day. Days Of Thunder has always been my favorite movie in Action F/X Theater. The James Bond one was ok, but DoT is still the best. And yes, Coney_man, the pits rule.

As long as they build SOMETHING in Launch Pad's place. A new ride in that area would be more than welcome. While we're at it, can we replace Days Of Thunder, too?
  8. Absolutely. It's never happened to me, thankfully, but I've heard of more than one case involving SFKK's Thunder Run where the bar popped open mid-ride. Praise God for seatbelts.
  9. Congrats, Chef! You're certainly at the right park if you have children. Great to hear that Mrs. Chef is doing well, too. :chef:
  10. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they built a 4D. PKI is all about building unique rides. Remember The Bat? Delirium? FOF? Screamin' Demon? TR:TR? All were one-of-a-kind when first built. Well, FOF was two-of-a-kind, but you know what I mean. I have a problem seeing them build a B&M or Intamin hyper. Something so... standard... just wouldn't fit. Besides, they already have a hyper. But I digress. Whatever their next coaster is, it'll be good.
  11. "Welcome back riders, Gillette Mach 3 hopes you enjoyed your ride on Top Gun."
  12. That little ol' Giant Enterprise of theirs. I even named myself after it. Oh well, SFKK has a normal-sized one, at least.
  13. Well, it's that time in my life where I have to choose some type of career. Yay college. I really want to do something in the park industry, specifically ride maintenance or something along those lines, since I like to build and repair things. Does anyone have any information or advice on how to get involved in this? College courses I should take or anything of that nature? Any help would be appreciated.
  14. Flying Eagles for me! I miss that good ol' snapping feeling. I even had a dream last night that I had a set in my backyard. Must... snap... flyers...
