I collected them as image files on flickr.

Just keep in mind these photos are not my own. I compiled them in middle school and forgot to cite them.

Based on a collection of old park maps I found online, it appears that the bridge was added between the 1985 and 1986 seasons and removed between the 1994 and 1995 seasons.
However, that is based on park maps and not actual pictures of the park, so take that with a grain of salt.

I think this image may more clearly portray what KIghostguy is referring to...

In the eleventh picture down, the one showing the fork-lift looking thing between the I-beams, look across the lake and you will see the clearing where the coaster might cross the pond.
Is this what you're talking about?

Woah, the section of trees that the new WWC queue goes around has no more trees.

*DBInternational changed the name of the group to, "Ohio Sports Championships"*
The fact that this topic was so easy to derail is evidence that Don needs to put out some more teasers.

I actually like this aerial map better than bing or google.

Went to the park today. Saw a tree removal company hard at work in between WWC's queue and the train station.
I noticed a marker in a place I wasn't expecting it today. The picture is kind of blurry unfortunately so it's hard to make out.
That's here:
(Aerial pic taken from hamilton county maps)
If my memory serves me correctly, most of our speculation so far hasn't come anywhere near this marker.
But who knows, maybe this marker is for something else...

Possibly more trees cleared today?

There's new markers approaching the bridge!
Awesome! This is getting super exciting!
Based on the train ride I took this last Thursday, here's what I remember seeing:
(Aerial shot of KI taken from Google Maps)
The red circles are where I saw markers (either on trees or in the ground).
The blue circles are where trees had been cleared.
I was surprised that I saw markers as far back as I did while riding the train and the amount of trees that have been cleared out between the railroad and WWC's pond was more than I had expected.

Hey Guys,
I want to start by saying that it has been quite a while since I last posted here on the wonderful KICentral Forums and it is good to be back.
I just wanted to point out something cool I noticed today. While looking into the new "construction area" of Rivertown on Google Earth, I noticed that the entire park is now in 3D. Unfortunately, the satellite images they used when creating these 3D images are from August 2012, so Son of Beast is included instead of Banshee but it's still super cool. Also upon further investigation, I discovered that basically the entire city of Mason is in 3D now.
So make sure you go check it out when you can because it looks pretty cool.
Here's some screenshots I took earlier:
Enjoy,

Definitely this one because it's from the year 2000 which was the first time I every visited the park. I used to have one of these in person but I lost it when I was little. Thankfully I still have my 2002 map which isn't much different.

Has anyone seen the new teaser? Possibly a hint for a dark ride in 2015? https://twitter.com/kingsislandpr/status/477189823526998016

It's easier to speculate about something behind a fence than something in a box.

As for me, I prefer the back left seat on Diamondback. Back because if you lean to the side on the splashdown you get wet. Also, airtime in the back is crazy because you get whipped over the hills. Left side specifically because if you look to the left at the turnaround point you'll find you're looking straight down and its really cool.
And if you're feeling particularly dangerous, try looking backwards the whole ride.

My apologies i guess I should have done some fact checking before posting.
New question: it seems to have been closed a lot so far this year. Why?

Has anyone also noticed a similar looking ride to Drop Tower is closed? WindSeeker has also been closed since opening day. Do you think maybe its a high wind issue or something dealing with altitude?

I second sprucing up Boo Blasters. I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t ridden it in the last 5 years but I rode it again a couple weeks ago and felt like it wasn’t what it used to be.
I did also however put up a score of 1380 making me a “Master Blaster” no big deal. Beat the absolute tar out of my sister’s score XD
