I just found this video posted on SF's Youtube about what seems to be Mr. Freeze at Six Flags St. Louis and my guess is a new ride expirience such as launching backwards?

I do know that alot of people that are not season passholders or frequently there, ask about the big pile of wood sitting in Action Zone BUT.... I don't really see many people let it ruin there day at the park and it doesn't ruin mine either. I do wish it was open but it does not ruin my day to see it and not ride it even though I would like to sometimes.... (That's mostly because I have had to get used to it sitting there)

To me, Kings Island and Disneyworld are not the same type of theme park......... Kings Island is a family park BUT it is not the same level of a family park as Disneyworld. It is more of a thrill park than a family park, so they can't really be compared to me.

Where is your favorite place to eat at when you visit Kings Island? Whats your favorite Restaurant and what is your favorite meal there? I don't really care where I eat because I'm so busy riding things BUT my favorite place to eat is Cinnabon!!

I was reading around and found this interview from the Coaster Crew last week with Don Helbig and of course I happened to hear Don talk about Son of Beast and his answer was a little bit different than normal but stil about the same..... My favorites are The Beast, Son of Beast, and Drop Tower.

Along with Kings Island's 40 years of family fun, thrills, and entertainment is also memories. And with that I thought that everyone could share photos that they have taken the past 40 years along with special stories and memories!! Happy 40 KI

During one of my visits last year, I was in line for Adventure Express and that was literally ALL that was being talked about in the line. A lot of the people in line kept asking the ride op's about SOB and they told them that they were not sure about the future of the ride and that it would not be operating today although I could tell they wanted to say something else, like "I wish they would tell us" or "I overheard the park GM and Don talking about it in they're office earlier" but they were all told to say the same thing. It still makes you wonder if Don or the park GM even know anything about the ride.....

I know that this is a little bit of a weird coaster to be asking about considering the fact that it does not exsist it Kings Island anymore but..... What was your expirience on King Cobra, Kings Island's first and only stand-up coaster? Did you enjoy it? Was it good enough that KI should add a newer style stand up coaster? and what was your overall ride expirience from the ride staff to the ride itself?

Hopefully Bluegrass Boardwalk will be in this type of condition in 2013-2014

One of my favorite coasters in the world!

I was there last summer and saw they're old original map hanging at the front gates. It is quite amazing to watch a parks transformation over time.

After I made the SOB expirience discussion I really liked to hear everyone elses opinion (expirience) besides my own so I decided to make another expirience discussion for the Longest Wooden Roller Coaster In The World: The Beast What was your first thought after riding this wooden monster in the woods? How many Times have you ridden it? Would You ride it again? What was your whole ride like from start to finish?

I think that the free soft drinks Etc. are some of the very few similarities that will occur. I seriously don't think that they will be extremely similar. They will probably leave the main focus of HW to be the water park and KK the rides and roller coasters But I do know that they will both have very family friendly staff members, as HW already has. I have a very great doubt that excact duplicates of the Voyage and Wildebeast will appear at KK. To me it has seemed that HW's main focus has always been the WaterPark and KK's to mainly be a Theme Park although I do know that KK still DOES focus on having a water park and that HW DOES focus on having a theme park (Voyage which has been voted the best wooden coaster on the planet). I do hope that the Kochs have a good time with this and I think they will be great operators of the park.

Although all hope is not lost and I still believe SOB has at least 5 years in him if Re-constructed, I am giving up on my tirade about Son of Beast but... When (if) Kings Island decides to wake him from hibernation he will probably return as the most massive (not heart attack) roller coaster in history and rise above all of the rest (The Beast) to become something great.

I am very pleased to hear that they were approved because I did like Kentucky Kingdom while it was open. I hope that they leave but refurbish Greezed Lightnin', and especially T2 because those were 2 of my favorite coasters along with Chang until he was moved to New Jersey. Do you guys think that there will be season passes the first year?

I like the idea of Son of Beast getting the Iron Horse Treatment and I do think that it would do very good with it. I'm not sure how rotten or beat-up the support would is but I think some of it could be fixed. I can only hope that Kings Island reads this topic so that they can get the view of us here at KIC and what our ride expirience was like so that when they decide to do what ever type of treatment or re-modeling that they know our opinions and our ride expiriences to help them fix and find the problems in this record breaking coaster.

How many times have you ridden Son of Beast? Would you ride it again? How were those rides (Uncomfortable, Wonderful, Neck Pains, Ect.) Or any other things you expirienced while on or around Son of Beast.

I like to ride Drop Zone (Drop Tower) first, to get my thrill switch turned on for the season and then usually The Beast.

If that was true than the amusement industry would be alot different.

As much as everyone likes to talk about Son of Beast (including me) I wonder what Son of Beast thinks of this whole situation himself? He might be hibernating or maybe he's just waiting on an answer from Cedar Fair and of course he's waiting on an answer from his father whom abandoned him a couple seasons back and left him to rot.

Today SFGA announced they're new waterslide "King Cobra". The name reminds me of a ride that used to be at KI Hmmm....

I had suggested in another topic that Face/Off (Invertigo) should be repainted because it looks pitiful and I guess KI finally realizes that too.

As I have heard, the Kochs are looking deeper into opening the abandoned Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom park to the point of possibly re-naming it as "Bluegrass Boardwalk" What do you think would be a good name for the Louisville Park? Or do you like the names "Kentucky Kingdom" and "Bluegrass Boardwalk?"

I am also sticking to my opinion that SOB should return for 2013 So another thing I could say is that I hope Kings Island gets a wooden looping hypercoaster next
