  1. Would getting rid of the dueling really reduce the risk of injury...there is a same chance of something hitting you on the same train that you are on as on another train.
  2. It's not really the first drop that bothers me, it's the part where it starts to turn. It whips you back pretty hard, and putting my hands up made it worse.
  3. But I do not have bone sensitivities....
  4. Oh, sorry! And flightoffear1996, it was a Theme Park Review POV, so it is not park recorded.
  5. But without the seat belt, you move around the car a lot more, if there was a seat belt, I would stay in one place, and not slam against the back. **EDIT** As a general rule, we do NOT allow linking or posting of on ride videos on KIC, as it is generally against park rules. **EDIT**
  6. Before I ramble on, I just went to Coney Island today, and the Python is a really fun coaster, and packs a punch for its size. And if you hate reading complaints, please click off this topic. But I do have a complaint (wait, what will a complaint do? I don't know, just feeling like expressing my feelings ) Anyways, on about my fourth ride I decided to put my hands up on the first drop, which wasn't the best idea. I ending up going forward and on the trim my back was nailed against the back of the seat, and it knocked the wind out of me. My chest and back still kind of hurt right now. What I suggest is they put seat belts on the ride, not to ensure safety, but just to make sure dummies like me don't hurt their back. Or, at least put a sign that says "WARNING: MAY CAUSE BACK PROBLEMS" Has anyone else "hurt their back" like I did?
  7. DaveStroem, I completley agree with you. Next thing you know, we will get a new B&M and so will CP...
  8. Phineas and Ferb reference?
  9. Kings Island just tweeted this: Are they messing with us, once again?
  10. Think of this guys...there's no brake run! Although there are an awful lot of trims.
  11. Isn't that a bit later than usual? Or am I just not remembering correctly?
  12. Oh...my...goodness...I wondered why the title was "Life Comes at you Fast". That scared me! Good video find.
  13. Delirium is and will always be my favorite flat. The Gs as you are going down are amazing, and honestly, the experience is better than many roller coasters.
  14. Then they could build 299.9 feet and consider it a giga!
  15. While I agree with you, the way you said it was kind of harsh..... ...but really, one incident anyways does not mean the ride isn't safe.
  16. We need to adopt you. In our family, we're the coaster-nut parents. I can see how Platinum Passes may not be at the top of the totem poll if your parents don't even like amusement parks. Our kids are going to be raised to like them......or else! That's probably how I will be when I have kids - right now though, with my Gold passes, going to Kings Island on an empty Sunday is a big deal for my parents!

  18. Great point, PizzaBaby. Just because it's the big 40 doesn't mean they will get something big. Remember last year, we were getting so excited for 2011's announcement, but then we were disappointed about it being WindSeeker? That will probably happen for 2012.
  19. I regret posting about the hotel thing, seeing now that it would still be cheaper to have Platinum passes instead of planning a trip alone to Cedar Point without them. $179 is a lot though for me because I have a family of four (me being the kid, so I have no choice in getting the passes), and that would cost almost $700. My family doesn't even like amusement parks! So, I am not complaining about the price overall, I am complaining about it for me.
  20. The only problem I have with Platinum passes, is no matter what, you are going to have to pay for your hotel room, and if I went to CP I would stay for at least two nights, and that alone would cost me up to $300 - then add lunches, dinners, breakfasts - that's probably up to $400 now, get a souvenir, maybe a couple of snacks, $450...even getting gas for the car would cost $60! No matter what you do, everything will cost money.
  21. $179 is an awful lot of money, especially for my family. I've always wanted to get Platinum passes, but unfortunately, it would be roughly $700 for my whole family. Yikes!
  22. Love the new boards!

  24. http://www.visitking...ndex.cfm?id=235 Now through August 28, Kings Island will allow season pass holders to bring a friend for $19.99! This should be a great time for that too, because many schools are in session and the weather is perfect! Go invite a friend...now!
