  1. It's still a shame all the parents who force their kids through the mazes. I saw a mother who was very forceful with her 3 young children last night pushing them through Madame Fatale's. We were right behind them and weren't being scared (rightfully so) because the "monstors" could hear the kids screaming that they wanted to go home and they tamed it down. These glow sticks would definitely assist in the problem, however getting their parents to purchase these is another story.
  2. I'm not sure how much they've improved since these options were originally introduced. It seems like the park had really been pushing the allergen friendliness and what not. However, an allergen guide has never been published to the website. Only a very large binder of individual food item ingredient lists that isn't very easy to navigate is available in Guest Services. That is almost more frustrating than knowing I have 2 or 3 guaranteed options available at the park that are considered "gluten free". Granted, 2 or 3 is better than none. And I definitely appreciate that.
  3. I would imagine their number one "wifi priority" at the moment is getting the network and data transfer to work within Banshee's station... Last I heard it was a few months behind schedule.
  4. On the plus side, it looks like their CMS finally has a legitimate mobile template! Hopefully it's only a matter of time till it reaches the individual parks...
  5. Sam will be there every night. Of course, with the new house and the new layout, no one knows yet where Sam will be lurking, not even Sam himself. And we love it when we can get someone's name! One of the lovely ladies got my sister's name from a source that won't be named Needless to say, she got the heebie-jeebies a little bit! hehe...
  6. You must've been in Skyline when I was. It was POURING as I sat by the window chuckling to myself at everyone in line to get their pizza. I really don't have room to laugh though. I sat in line for Banshee from 9:40 till 11:10, when it finally reopened after quite a bit of down time and two heavy downpours. Both of which I got quite drenched.
  7. I think it was down a little while ago because they were moving the purple train onto the transfer table...
  8. Here's the unpublished/not-live-yet page with tentative prices.... Looks like $90 for Gold (9 payments of $10) and $184.50 for New Platinum (9 payments of $20.50) or $180 for Platinum Renewals (9 payments of $20). Edited to correct late night/tired phrasing errors so as to not mislead anyone. Mod edit: removed link to avoid potential pricing confusion.
  9. The speakers are also only on the left side of the lift hill. VERY difficult to hear it on the right side, and heck, even on the left side. Much easier to hear it on the ground, especially while in the queue.
  10. I could have sworn it said coney mall as the location of zombie outlet. Just gonna put this here...
  11. See Splash Adventure's Facebook, more specifically this picture (and others): https://www.facebook.com/SplashAdventureWaterpark/photos/pb.78871446304.-2207520000.1407045554./10152200405761305/?type=3&theater Not to say she still isn't at Holiday World, because I certainly don't know for sure. But from the looks of it, Pat, Dan, and Natalie have all moved to Alabama.
  12. Maybe it's just going to be closed for a few months and then reopen as the arcade next season? Crossthreading.
  13. By doing that, you risk getting your personal belongings stolen exponentially moreso than by putting them in a locker. Definitely NOT recommended.
  14. What's the significance of "stock" other than Woodstock? Or is that the significance? Looks like a great event!
  15. In my position, I know there are policies in place that do not allow employees with government-owned devices to install third-party apps, however at the low security clearance that we have, I don't often see it enforced. Up the food chain a bit, I can see how that policy could be enforced quite stringently. I'd agree though, most in that situation would probably also have a personal phone.
  16. There won't be a state investigation. http://on.wlwt.com/1nAehR7
  17. Thunderbird Website: http://www.holidayworld.com/thunderbird/
  18. German speaking country, not Germany necessarily. Switzerland is a German speaking country.
  19. I had noticed the conduit and cable a couple weeks ago, but couldn't figure out what it could be for, since the station was already decked out in security cameras and I didn't think they'd add any FunTVs in the station. Now we know, I suppose!
  20. I figure the back side of the building will be the entrance so they can use the access road as space for queues away from the midway, with the exit close to the midway for easier traffic flow. Considering how crowded Rivertown is during Haunt with Madame Fatale's and Tombstone Terror-tory, not to mention The Beast, I'd imagine the further away this is from the midway, the better.
