  1. Was at the park on Thursday and even though it was kind of rainy all day every ride opened at one point during the day with the lone exception being Rougarou. Is there a problem with it? The other Coasters ran most of the day even through some Heavy rain.
  2. We were in row 5 or 6 specifically the last corkscrew before pulling into the unloading station was extremely bad.
  3. Do you think there will be a height limit like on Delirium, Invertigo and others? I'm too tall to ride Delirium and am just able to ride Invertigo.
  4. Quick question I was at the park on Sunday and FoF nearly beat me to death has it always been rough in spots or is it just where I hadn't ridden it in a long time?
  5. One of my friends had the ride ops double and sometimes triple check her restraints. Finally on The Beast she asked the ride op if he was sure the restraint was locked. The guy said nope and they dispatched the train as we were leaving the station he said hold on and pray. It was great
  6. What a shock a HUSS part not being delivered on time. haha!
  7. Diamondback went down multiple times on Sunday but was operating when I left around 7 with about a 30-45 minute wait
  8. Not as much so as everyone thinks they are and if needed they can always remove attractions they can also expand into the parking lot
  9. Thanks Terp appreciate it I'll make sure we're there fairly early
  10. Last season during a bit of downtime on Vortex the ride op sang a Vortex/buckle up for your safety themed version of Call Me Maybe it was hilarious.
  11. How do you guys think the crowd will be for tomorrow Sunday the 18th only day my friends and I are off work to be able to go.
  12. I won at the 10 cup game at KI last season mainly because it's the same as beer pong for us college students just without water in the cups. Makes it much tougher to win as the ping pong balls tend to bounce out.
  13. I just wish they'd change the name to anything other than Flight Deck that is the dumbest name on the planet. No offense to anyone who likes the name just my opinion
  14. The fact that we here at KIC decoded everything made the announcement that much more exciting to me IMO
  15. because it drops into a valley total elevation change is 206 ft
  16. Can't wait to ride this Ride looks awesome
  17. Yea but Intamin could make the same exact ride and you would claim it's the best invert on the planet B&M makes great reliable rides just be happy we are getting a new coaster. EDIT: Didn't realize that the post I quoted was from two pages ago my bad
  18. I'm imagining that you are saying this in a Hank Venture voice. I'm not hep on "The Bat riding again." A wing coaster cannot bring back the exact nature of the defunct Bat from long ago. What about a invert named bat.......
  19. They work in a PR department their entire job revolves around tricking us.........
  20. I'm 6'3" and at the time, was about 280, with most of my fat distribution in my stomach area. I have naturally broad shoulders, which doesn't help on rides with shoulder harnesses. With naturally broad shoulders combined with a fat stomach, it caused all kinds of issues, specifically on Drop Tower at that time. I have a little fat on my stomach but my problem is more my legs than anything else they are pretty long and create very odd angles that sometimes don't work under lap bars. I used to have a little problem on Vortex but I've since lost weight and it's a non-issue. I will say that I won't even attempt to ride Delirium, and Invertigo because of the posted height restrictions that i'm close to be too tall for so I just don't ride them and I accept that wish others would do the same instead of making a scene, ya know? Delirium has a test seat you could try, if I remember correctly. I'm about an inch from being too tall, yet I fit in the restraints on Delirium quite comfortably. I get sick on spinning rides anyway so this just gives me a good reason to tell my friends I can't ride it without dealing with all the peer pressure situations.

  22. I'm a bigger guy 6'4 or 6'5 about 250 and I've never had to have any help with a restraint only one I have problems with is Adventure Express (I have to turn my legs sideways and under the lap bar till it is shut then move them back to a seated position the lap bar can then do it's job. I also will make the restraint a little tighter to myself and sometimes uncomfortable but I'm a paranoid person so I'd rather be safe than sorry
  23. In the situation that I believe you are referring to, which was at Kentucky Kingdom on the Intamin ride, Superman: Tower of Power in 2007, there was no incident where a "kids legs were cut off." Although in 2007 there was a horrific incident in which a girls feet were chopped off by dangling cables that had snapped and tangled around her on the ride by Intamin at Kentucky Kingdom called Superman: Power of Tower. So...No ones "legs were cut off" and the ride you were talking about, Superman Tower of Power was nothing like Drop Tower at Kings Island. However many Drop Towers were closed for a couple days afterwards even though they weren't Intamin made or the same model of Drop Tower
