  1. YouTube the Outer Limits Flight of Fear intro video and you’ll find more clues...Like Mr.Christopher (Not sure if this has been previously discovered)
  2. Ok cool. Wasn’t sure, but if I see something more colorful I’ll take a pic
  3. I don’t post often but live near Clermont Steel. Took a pic as I drove by. A lot of brown track outside
  4. I agree with what Shaggy said and want to add to it. Some folks are dissapointed with the hype of the shed but in an amazing marketing stradegy why not hype up the least exciting part of the ride and when folks ride they're like...holy s***!? while they sit in a shed wondering why the park didnt hype up the intensity and great ride they just had. I was all about the shed until I was sitting in there like WTF just happened?!. I knew the layout, saw the POV, and knew it had 16 airtime hills but was so intrigued by what was in the shed that I didnt expect the punch this ride packed from the first drop until the shed. The shed wasn't "overhyped" the ride itself was "underhyped"....well played KI. You got another award winning wood coaster in your arsenal.
  5. I see your point just thought tiques would be a simple guess compared to all the others. I haven't seen the construction area so I'm just waiting for 10pm
  6. If Don said no one has guessed correctly why would you go back to something that's already been guessed??
  7. If Don said no one has guessed correctly why would you go back to something that's already been guessed??
  8. The ride announcer said it was haunted by a girl. I never heard that one when I worked there... I blame the show Ghost Hunters after their visit to the park. Yeah....I never heard of that until I saw that episode. The only real ghost story was tower johnny. Thats the one we used to talk about. We used to always blame his ghost when one of the rides in Rivertown would break down. It was rumored that the elevator cables that killed tower johnny are back in a maintenance graveyard behind Beast. There are cables back there but not sure if they really are from the incident.
  9. The ride announcer said it was haunted by a girl. I never heard that one when I worked there...
  10. It was also used for the live actors to use as a "dressing room" when the train had them. I went inside that house back in the late 90's and it was pretty creepy. I wish I would have taken some pics inside though...
  11. There is also a holding break between unload / load station. I was working at FOF during the transition from OTR's to lap bars and the explanation given to me was because with the seat belt latches they added it was going to take us longer to load and unload the trains. I always believed we could have ran 3 trains but they stopped using the holding break between stations and I never knew why. With the right crew I still think it's possible..imo. They told us it also had something to do with KD's FOF and didn't go into much more detail about that incident.
  12. It would be neat to see Action Zone re-named Adventure Village again.
  13. I hope Kenton's Cove Keelboat Canal has a tomb stone if they do have them, You mean Kenton's Cove Sailboat Canal? The ride that was removed for The Beast? Noooo...the flume ride next to The Beast. Keelboat Canal was removed for Tomb Raider.
  14. I hope Kenton's Cove Keelboat Canal has a tomb stone if they do have them,
  15. That wouldn't be the old beige General Services van, would it? I drove that thing many a time. Memories, indeed!
  16. SPCA could sue too, because the name "BAT" and any logo using a bat would attract real bats around the ride and they would end up eating dip n dots and die. Then all the dead bat carcasses would start to rot and get into the water supply killing millions of fish and other wildlife. Even people might start dying so everyone would sue....It would cause an apocalyptic catastrophe and lawsuits galore....so yeah naming it "BAT" would be really bad. Just to be safe they should just call it: "The ride that cannot be named because we could be sued for calling it something too similar too other things: The Ride"
  17. And from the blueprints, you can also see doors that you will have to open to get inside. Hopefully this means a lot of themeing. (You also can see an exit door. Just hard to make sense of it. I'm curious why it's all blacked out and doesn't have the individual steps drawn, unless it was a ramp I wish there were steps because then I could figure out station height. Its "blackend" or "thickened" up as you say, because that is the background information for that particular drawing. The intent of that particular drawing is to show the items labeled T-TA-3, and P-19F. Dollar to a donut says this is a site utility plan. The T-TA-3 that is being relocated is probably a transformer, the P-19-F is probably a pull station, the darkened lines running b/w the 2 items, then down the page is probably electrical conduit. It could be storm drainage as well, or perhaps even another utility. Anyhoo, lets just assume its electrical stuff, doesn't exactly matter to your question. The guy designing the electrical stuff is in no way, shape or form responsible for the stairs, que lines or station. He shows that on his plans as a point of reference, but they intended not to stand out b/c the people installing the electric off of that particular plan are only considered about their job, not what the carpenter or steel erector need to do. This is the kind of detail I was expecting from the youtube guy's video, but you explained why it wouldn't have the detail very well. Since I have no background with blueprints I just imagined they would all look like the photo above, but different contractors depending on their line of work will have more detail on what they are doing....After this pic / your explanation I'm starting to think the leaked blueprints on youtube are probably real and agree with others that this will be a 200' tall invert.
  18. Martinin is right. In all my years I have seen plenty of semis in that area. Not everything is for the 2014 attraction, Back in the day a beige van once drove those roads...lol. memories
  19. Good point...maybe he meant for 2013 without specifically saying it...kinda how Don said there may not be a day this summer for an announcement and to find out he literally meant day time. That's my guess.
  20. Some guy on YouTube has already told everyone...now we just need stats and a name.Seriously though, I've been pondering that myself. What ride is your Avatar of?? -- And I really hope we don't get that wing rider! The name The Bat would be fine.. kinda cool too! But, I would be a little let down in all honesty. Also, is there really enough space around the station area for a lift that would be above 170ft? Kenton's Cove Keelboat Canal.
  21. Some guy on YouTube has already told everyone...now we just need stats and a name. That escalated quickly...I didn't mean today.
  22. Maybe the YouTube guy does work at KI and he's pushing buttons he shouldn't be...
