  1. ^ That's not that big of a leap considering we know the parks are for sale.
  2. ^Yep. It's all about the show.....until it becomes all about shaving a little off the budget.
  3. ^LOL Rob. Now they really have an excuse not to fix the triangle effect.
  4. Requires fewer operators that way -- hence less $$.
  5. It's still sitting out back in pieces.
  6. I belive Action Theater switches from Spongebob to HB at 3 or 4 pm.
  7. One of the Flight of Fear trains probably has orange seats because it came from the other Flight of Fear which is now SBNO. The one on the side track is PKI's other train.
  8. In his defense, he's not a member of the staff of PKI.
  9. LOL Yeah. BEING BUILT. There aren't exactly Giant Top Spins operating all over to compare ours to.
  10. How could you possibly know this if ours is the only one?
  11. That is in fact correct. Well, sort of.
  12. Exposed to what? The outside? Pretty sure the ride was outside for 17 years.
  13. Umm, it swings 120 degrees like it always has.
  14. With those seatbelts, running three trains would be a moot point. With only two, the second train is almost always finished unloading by the time the first train is ready to launch. Adding the a third wouldn't increase capacity much if at all. I'm definately not knocking the crew. Last time I rode, they were going very fast; it's just those seatbelt buckles suck. Most of the time it's hard to get them to snap closed even with slack in the belt, let alone if the rider is larger. I remember checking bars with the old restraints, and it took only about 25-30 seconds from gate-open to launch most of the time.
  15. Actually, they do get repainted every year. I've painted them and it's not fun.
  16. A set-up is when a train reaches a brake or top of a lift, and the block ahead is still occupied by another train. The tailing train stops on the brake or lift.
  17. I'm pretty sure that maintenance can adjust the trimming from the PLC room, not from the brake area itself. The trimming is determined by the control system, not by changing anything on the brakes.
  18. ^ It's a poll about what people think the park needs, not what people think the park is going to get, chief.
