  2. Ever since we acquired Stinger's trains from Dorney, Invertigo has been much better. Never perfect but I always give it one ride when I'm at the park. Orion - 5 minutes Racer - Walk-on Adventure Express - Walk-on Banshee - 5 minutes Bat - Walk-on Mystic Timbers - 25 minutes Diamondback - 10 minutes Beast - 30 minutes Invertigo - Walk-on Definitely my most successful coaster riding haunt trip. Together with the Ohio Dept. of Agriculture’s Division of Amusement Ride Safety & Fairs, third party investigators, engineers and the ride’s manufacturer, we are being careful, methodical and thorough.   11. I am pretty much your exact dimensions, 6'5" and a muscular 304. Everyone is different. I have the most trouble with Drop Tower and Flight of Fear. Banshee has longer seatbelts in rows 4 and 5 but has a test seat outside. Orion and Diamondback can be tight for me as you need 3 clicks. Try to sit as far back in your seat as possible. You only need 1 click on Mystic Timbers so if you've been on other GCIs with Millennium Flyers, you'll be fine. Beast and Racer have your typical PTCs where you will need 2 clicks.   14. PTCs are more cramped for me as well, as I'm 6'5". But PTCs have a reputation industry wide for being some of the more accommodating trains. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  15. I believe there's no correlation between PTCs and B&M clamshells. PTCs tend to be some of the more accommodating trains as long as you are not overly tall. Premier (Flight of Fear, Backlot Stunt Coaster) may give you more issues. BLSC does not have a seat belt which helps though. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  16. Flight of Fear has never been rough to me. It just has rapid transitions. In my opinion, our FoF is smoother than KD's, but Poltergeist at SFFT is the smoothest of the three AND doesn't have a MCBR. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  17. Wow. Surprised to see Gravity Group on the project after GCI did such a good job. I would speculate it came down to cost. Hopefully the banked turned towards the final bunny hills is reprofiled. It was always a little funky. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  19. Or, the back wheel assembly had failed somewhere throughout the ride layout and eventually jammed up on the lift hill. The operator watching the train on the cameras could've seen the catwalk bend and E-stopped the ride, or a maintenance person watching from the lift could've radioed in to the operator to stop the lift. Just another theory.
  20. Yep, definitely not much structural issues to be noted here besides the catwalk. Can't believe this coaster is 23 years old on its third set of trains. Also, @gforce1994, where did you hear the train rolled back? I'm not denying it all I heard was one car partially derailed on the lift hill.

  22. A dual-station with 3 trains wouldn't be awful with capacity. Does anyone know how the newer B&M flyers are on reliability? I know the Superman clones leave something to be desired.
  23. When I visited Six Flags Over Georgia last Friday, Superman went down three separate times during my visit, including while I was on the ride in the station. I train must've misaligned when it arrived in the station, because the locking pins that keep the train in the flying position while in motion wouldn't engage. It's not very comfortable being in the flying position for 10 minutes waiting for maintenance to arrive.
  24. It's very difficult to have the ideal "enthusiast's day" at Cedar Point due to the large crowds they attract. As far as decent rides that are almost guaranteed to have a short line, you only get to deal with Rougarou, Gemini, and sometimes Magnum/Wicked Twister. Fast Lane is almost a must for every CP visit, but will still have you wait upwards of 30 minutes for Maverick and Steel Vengeance, especially the latter. Kings Island occasionally draws massive crowds that make every ride a long wait, but much less often. Up until this year (of course due to capacity restrictions), you were able to able to guarantee yourself decently short lines on weekdays for most major attractions. I think that's the main factor in people ranking KI higher than CP. Cedar Point most likely still has a better lineup in most people's eyes, but KI has not gone silent with excellent additions in the last 10 or so years. I enjoy both parks equally but I'm having a hard time justifying going to CP anytime soon due to the ridiculous wait times I've experienced in my last few visits. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
