I did not find Invadr intense at all, nor did I feel much air. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Possible another B&M stand up in the near future?
tuxedoman52 replied to Changmanky's topic in Rumors
I loved Green Lantern at SFGA when I rode it this past December. Kept my head forward and knees slightly bent and it was great, even in 38° weather. Vortex at CW was a different story however. Not an enjoyable experience at all. I couldn't wait to get off. I thought well of Mantis when I rode it in 2012, but I was much shorter and had a much higher pain tolerance. I trust B&M to make at least a decent stand up nowadays. -
Could Infinity Flyers replace current Millennium Flyers?

I don't see this happening, but never say never. Wasn't it rumored that Beast and Racer might get G-Trains around the time SoB did? I think they were the old Villain and Raging Wolf Bobs trains. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -
Kings Island and Cedar Point opening Mid-May
tuxedoman52 replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
With no seasonal staff to pay or operating costs, you can't imagine Cedar Fair is taking that big of a hit by not opening. They're only delaying when they make their profits. Now, if attendance is significantly down when and if the parks do open, then that will be an issue. Also, you have to consider the fact that they lost a majority of their season pass revenue for 2021, assuming most people renew their pass every year. -

I believe Snoopy's Space Buggies and 2/3 drop slides on Tropical Plunge are the only rides I haven't been on.

Is season long Fast Lane using it wisely? Asking for a friend. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -
I love the 4D free spins! Not rough IMO, although I have plenty of padding. There's a couple real forceful rotations at the very top but it's nothing unbearable. If S&S could create a full scale custom layout with this track style I think it would go over really well, as long as the speed and rotations are controlled appropriately.

I thought about this soon after I posted. I'd say there's a solid difference between dueling and racing. I'd be fine with a dueling coaster as long as it has strong elements and speed. Preferably a mobius loop, too, to increase duration. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Gemini at CP? Racer at Kennywood? Granted, these are both very old coasters, especially Racer.

Verizon is fine everywhere besides FoF. I was actually able to renew my platinum pass and read over philosophy homework in line for Madame Fatale. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Thanks for the detailed responses! As far as my standups go, I've been on 3 B&Ms. Vortex was absolutely brutal, Mantis was tolerable, and Green Lantern was awesome when I kept my head forward. I see why standups were so popular at one time, but are quickly fading away today. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

For those of us too young to even remember KC (I was born in 2000), what was the whole experience like? How would you compare a TOGO stand-up to a B&M? Was KC smooth? Also, I'm not quite sure where the entrance was. Was it right where Delirium's entrance is now? From early trip reports on Coasterbuzz I've seen that the lines for KC even during it's last few years were quite long. Was it actually popular or more a result of capacity issues? I'm building a custom Arrow Looper!

Viper, Corkscrew, Great American Scream Machine. All very typical Arrow looper names. Original names? Renegade, Bandit, Patriot (not all that original but good for an Arrow looper) Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -
Yep, I am familiar with the situation. I just wonder if that's about the time they started using CAD. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I definitely knew about TT. Yes, Drachen Fire was rough but it didn't seem to have those traditional Arrow transitions. Plus they tried 3 new elements (firsts for Arrow) with a wraparound corkscrew, cobra roll, and cutback. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Kinda off topic but does anyone know which Arrow coaster was first to be designed using a computer? I'm thinking Drachen Fire but I may be wrong. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Wow! Really exciting to see that the transfer track already functions. I wonder what electronics have still yet to be installed. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
