Speaking of Heart Attack, not the best name for a ride located where a man unfortunately had one on Firehawk... Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

It's funny someone mentioned the spears working this year. Growing up, AE was my go to ride. While I don't ride it every visit nowadays, this year was the first time I EVER noticed the spears before the first lift hill. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

If I go to Kings Island later on today and scan my pass for parking, then completely leave and come back later on, can I reuse my pass for parking? I have a platinum pass. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

I personally don't have a problem with sitting next to people I don't know. Did it lead me to sit next to a little girl who never rode FoF? Yes. Did it lead me to sitting next to a really interesting guy on Diamondback who vaped in line and every other word out of his mouth was an obscenity? Sure. But it didn't ruin my day. Diamondback and maybe Backlot (correct me if I'm wrong) had single rider lanes until July 2011, when FastLane was introduced. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Will I have a hard time riding rides at the park?
tuxedoman52 replied to EmilySuzanne888's topic in Kings Island
If you fit on everything at Cedar Point, you will generally be able to fit on everything at Kings Island no problem. Your husband, on the other hand, may have trouble on Diamondback, Banshee, and Flight of Fear. Everyone is different though. Good luck! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk -
1. Ride Invertigo (Completed 4/20) 2. Ride Banshee outside of rows 4 & 5 for the first time in a couple years (Completed 4/20) 3. Check out the Antique Cars (Completed 4/20) 4. Eat at the "new" restaurant by MT (Completed 4/20) 5. Make at least 20 visits this year (5 at Soak City) Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

As I recall, CoasterDynamix only has the 4 across B&M trains available, so if you were able to recreate DB's staggered seating that would be cool. Good luck! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

KI lets slip plans for 2019 exist on IG today?
tuxedoman52 replied to BruceWayneWins's topic in Kings Island
Exactly. We're still waiting for "The Big One". It'll be obvious when we're getting the giga. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -

I saw this too. Probably just teasing at this point. We haven't seen many signs of a new coaster around the park. I asked them when the giga was coming. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -
Yes you can. Just take the train over or you can walk to and from. Just remember that proper attire needs to be worn on the dry side (shirt, shorts, shoes, etc.). Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I know GCI has done some retracking in the past, but what about a complete overhaul from GCI? Doesn't lose anything from what it was, just a smoother, more enjoyable experience. I wouldn't go as far as putting Millennium Flyers on it, but maybe the new articulating PTC trains. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

The Ridiculous Record Thread

Great Pumpkin Coaster has also had 4 different names through its 25 years. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -
^Agreed. The Beast is smoother now than ever (14 years experience of riding). Yes, there are rough spots and seats, but nothing like SOB (Note: I was 8 when I last rode SOB). Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Final ride of the Season (Winterfest excluded)
tuxedoman52 replied to Gannersdaddy's topic in KI Polls
I have ended my year with a lights-on final train run on FoF but I didn't make it back there in time. I was sitting on DB's brake run for what seemed like hours as I watched 6:53 turn into 6:59, thus crushing my chances. I do believe I was on the last non-ERT train on Diamondback. -
Just a quick comment on the term, "GP". Without them, we wouldn't have a park. Also, just because someone doesn't share the same enthusiasm for a specific topic (coasters in this case) doesn't mean you trash them. That makes the whole "community" look bad. It makes me sick when I see the GP referred to in a negative way. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I thought that PTC did offer articulating trains now. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Probably just running two trains because of low ridership. I've noticed this too. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

When I rode in the second row last night, I had an extremely good ride. Second time, fourth row, was a bit rougher but still not unbearable. This might be a difference between the trains.

I consider myself very lucky that I got to ride Son of Beast 3 times before its closing. All 3 came 3 days before its final operating date. What a ride. Still to this day, it is my favorite wooden coaster I've ever ridden. Rough, yes, but it had its great moments. I was sad to see it go, and its too bad that its construction was so rushed.

I'd just be watchful for Delirium, Flight of Fear, Backlot Stunt Coaster, and Drop Tower. You should definitely be good on the woodies, even Mystic Timbers. Good luck! Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

I agree with electricsun on that. As for BLSC, you should be fine as the restraints are the same as Flight of Fear. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Drop Tower will definitely be a tight fit, just due to your height. Other than that, you should be good. Good luck!

Mystic Timbers Shed aging (Warning Shed Spoiler)
tuxedoman52 replied to MaestroJr's topic in Kings Island
I would actually go the route of saying not only the shed will be kept up as this will be a top ride for MANY years to come, and also say that we could see improvements to the shed as more and more technology is available. I'm fine with whatever route they go as long as it doesn't kill capacity. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -
I waited the full 240 minutes that they estimated on the dot. Got in line at 6:14 and got on at 10:14. However, there was about an extra hour of waiting because of the downtime MT was experiencing. Once I got on though, WOW! What a ride. There was absolutely no letting up from the top of the lift hill all the way into the shed. Definitely a great ride and very rerideable.
