  1. To be quite honest, I'm not particularly a fan of Timberliners myself. As I said earlier, The Voyage was impeccable this season and possibly better than it's ever been. I'm just guessing that the new element (inversion, possibly) would go on The Voyage, since it is almost the only candidate for one. With that being said, I was thinking that Timberliners would be used to go through an inversion. The more I think about it now, I suppose there are a few other trains nowadays that can handle inversions.....
  2. ^ I guess that just depends on how you look at it. I tend to think that for something to "return" means that it will go back to a place where it was previously. Even if the trains were at the park, never tested at all, and sat on the ground next to the station before leaving, that would still mean that they had returned, if they were to come back to the park. We'll just have to wait and Sea......At least it wont necessarily be 66 Days this time.....
  3. Voyage, oh Voyage. As far as decent wooden roller coasters go, after a good off-season rehab last year, the ride was impeccable this season. I'm not sure I've ever been on The Voyage with it running the way that it did this season. I was overly impressed. Based on the information presented, I interpret that "list" as the following as far as The Voyage is concerned: - Barrel Roll (As seen on Hades 360) - The "return" of Timberliner trains As for Raven and Legend, I suspect that's where the mentioned "tunnel" will appear.
  4. This makes me wonder if they will try some type of unique lighting system on Valravn.....
  5. I agree with that ^ 100% If anything, I'd like to see Millenium Flyers on The Beast. Personally, I'd like The Beast to stay the same forever But I do understand that change is inevitable at some point..... With that being said, Millennium Flyers are my personal favorite when it comes to wooden coaster trains, and as long as the ride isn't altered much, I wouldn't mind seeing them installed on the ride someday.
  6. Buying streaming cameras, especially with the video quality of the ones they're using, can be quite expensive. Not only that, but the streaming cams are also more difficult to maintain than the previous updating still-image versions. I will admit though, as one of the most vocal advocates for getting the park to install these live-cams, I'm MORE than pleased to have two of them! Just think.....Some parks don't have any type of webcam at all! Either way.....Good suggestion and Welcome to KICentral!
  7. It's that time of year again...... ......When I begin to wonder..... "An off-season tour is something we're considering." .....I hope that's still the case!

  9. "The first coaster in America that will feature a barrel roll." Wait......What was that?.... The first roller coaster in America to feature a "barrel roll"......?......Really? Think again. Check up on that again. I'm sure you'll find at least a few coasters in America with a "barrel roll." Oh! Did someone say a Barrel Roll Drop? CORRECT!

  12. Interesting time to watch the Cedar Point Live Video cam, as Valravn pieces are lifted into place and Raptor is being power-washed to remove paint and residue. Watch live Here.
  13. Surprisingly good crowds today for the last operating day of the season compared to last year. THIS is good news! Glad to see the park buzzing a bit today!

  15. I saw that someone had pointed this out over at the TPR forums..... Now THIS is interesting...... The FAA responded to Cedar Point's request about a 230 ft. "tower" yesterday with a letter: What is usually done about something like this on The Point's side of things?

  20. And so we begin counting again..... Let's start with #1...... Cedar Point on Facebook: "Blue Streak. 1964. An out-and-back wooden roller coaster named after our local Sandusky High School Blue Streaks. #1" Photo : Cedar Point via Facebook On a related note, this same photo and accompanying caption were posted on the park's Instagram and Twitter pages. It will be interesting to see if this will be a daily count or whether it will be every few days or so, as seen with the fence panels......
  21. I've never had a pleasant ride on one of these types of rides....
