Wow......Interesting way to look at the Cedar Point 2016 teasers and Batavia Dive track...... I'm not sure I'd look at it that way......Especially as this does seem somewhat far-fetched and far-researched..... But still a fun way to look at things either way. Wow, I'm currently about half-way through reading the presentation..... .....Interesting. FUN, FUN, and more FUN !!

Well that was strange..... One of th Diamondback ride ops at the entrance of the ride was wearing about 4 different Islands of Adventures and USO pins on his Cedar Fair polo.... For a moment, I didn't understand what park I was at!

Wow.... Banshee operations are about as slow this morning as I've ever witnesses before.... Ouch.

Out of all of this, the one thing that I'm curious about will be if we'll see the debut of B&M's "vest" restraints on a dive coaster train?..... I mean, to put it in perspective, they were originally wanting to do it with the floorless trains on Rougarou before issues occured. Anyway..... I'd love to see it happen!

Well, I know that everyone else here willl give you some pretty good recommendations......Possibly in-depth ones at that. I just have 2 recommendations for you. Simply put : Ride The Beast. Ride The Beast at night (If Possible). Two completely different experiences, both of which you'll likely never forget. Enjoy your visit!

For now, it seems as if things are looking up for Cedar Point...... .....but just wait about 15 days...... .....And there's a good possibility that everything will be diving down...... TheBEASTunchained....Holding his brakes at the top.....For now.

Well, I'm somewhat glad that they're finally doing this.....BUT It seems to have been put together very quickly and rushed out to most of the Cedar Fair parks relatively quickly this season, and after looking at most of the schedules, it seems even more "thrown together". The notice is a bit short for me though, but if they had given about a month in advance or more, I probably would've been more likely to attend. Maybe next year. I can say one thing though.......I'll be at COASTERSTOCK 2016 !

Well, obviously this isn't a photo, it's a video, but after seeing it, I thought it was pretty neat and that I should share it here.... Sean Flaharty posted this video to YouTube a few days back it looks like, and I watched it last night. The WCMH news crew visiting Kings Island during the debut season of Adventure Express! Check out the effects throughout the duration of the ride......Anybody remember those??.....(Watching this made me miss them more)

My number one suggestion is definitely The Bat, due to it's nature of being relatively smooth, short ride length, and exhilarating enough to make her possibly want to go ride Banshee on her way out. I've seen it happen with other folks who aren't necessarily into coasters, where they'll try out The Bat, and on their way back into Action Zone, they see another coaster suspended from the tracks and think Banshee would be a nice step up. Either way, I'd definitely recommend The Bat, it's a great "starting" coaster!

Nice trip report! Sounds like you enjoyed your visit, even with heavy crowds. In response to your Son of Beast flame question...... From what I've observed during my visits to the park this year, the flame has only really been turned on at night, excluding pass-preview night, when it was on in the afternoon / early evening hours. Periodically, I have noticed though that it wont be on at all on certain nights.

I doubt that will happen. What will happen though, is you'll get this feeling in the pit of your stomach, a voice if you will, that will begin to scream as you walk through the park (no it's not Banshee ) and it will begin saying "bluuuuuuee ice cream, bluuuuuuee ice cream" ......and suddenly, your body will begin to hover towards the nearest blue ice cream. That's what will happen.

Nice PTR, I enjoyed that one! Really like some of those photos! Unique angles that very many folks don't generally take. .....On a side note.... This whole PTR makes me anxious to get back to the park..... ....Just a few more days....

As I attend, observe, and notice all of these wonderful events taking place at the park this year, set up by the wonderful marketing / sales / promotions teams at Kings Island, it got my mind rumbling about a possible KICentral event, as seen in the past. By KICentral Event, I mean more along the lines of what we did closing weekend of the 2014 season, or even events from years prior to that, with possible help from the park to an extent. Pending that such an event could be arranged with the park.... Let's throw out a few ideas! I thought it would be a good time now to discuss such an event and the possibilities of it happening, or not happening, at some point this season, not necessarily the closing weekend, but any weekend / day.

Wow. And to bounce off of Terp's post a bit..... Cyclone at Six Flags New England gave it's final ride one year ago today. Time flies when you're having FUN. Who's next?.....

Very, very happy to see Banshee at 10.......As I voted everyday......For Banshee.... On a side note, being someone who looked at the results each day, I'm extremely surprised to see how quickly Bizarro jumped to #1, it seemed as if Outlaw Run and Maverick were the main two fighting for #1.....

Is it just my eyes or are there two different track colors there? Some pieces orange and some brown?
