I mostly ride in the back... But I usually catch myself looking at my friend that's sitting next to me instead haha. The reaction on peoples faces is something I cant resist to miss xD haha. .

'On May 21, “The Beast” was evacuated while climbing its second lift hill and riders waited about 10 minutes before being escorted off the ride. That ride stopped when a device on the coaster intended to keep cars separated detected a problem' I was on that ride, we also got suck on the break run too. I don't see what the big deal is about it.... facepalm Whoa. just saw these posts...haha That pretty cool we were all on the same train without knowing it xD

We came down to Cincinnati to do some renovations and such on our soon-to-be house and to visit relatives this weekend, as we have been doing for almost every weekend for about two months now. My mom said it was going to be a boring day, sanding the hardwood floors and priming the walls so she insisted we go to KI. Me and my brother were dropped off at around 2..? Platinum passes scanned and we walked in. My brother just reached 52 inches this year so he wanted to get back onto DB as soon as possible. We headed over there and got into the 60 min. wait line. I haven't heard anyone mention this but I like those little wheel games they put out in front of the rides where you can possibly get to the front of the line. I haven't played them, but I thought it was a good deal and creative. When we almost got to the front of the line, I saw this man run pass me on the Fast Lane side. His shirt said ' Diamondback rider 9,100 times and counting on the back. We headed for The Beast but also being an hour wait we decided to skip it. We went on over to Vortex which had its line going all the way out to Juke Box Café, so we got on WindSeeker which had a 1 cycle wait. I thought that was a little odd, the lines were all over the place, some being 90 minutes while others were 20. The ride was great, got a good view of the construction. We then went to The Racer. Which had a 20 minute wait. I saw a KICer there who I gave a little wave too but didn't recognize me at all and he said 'hi' in a confused voice with a look in his eyes like 'get away from me'. xD lol oh well, feeling quite stupid we got onto the red side. Oh, and maybe im late on this news, but, the gate that always used to divide the two sides, is now gone. I really like it much better now. IMG_9270 by KIC-Original, on Flickr My poor brother being tall and boney rattled pretty hard with the ride, so I put my arm around him to give him a cushion of somewhat lol. Our side won, and we got off and went to fethas and got some food. We stopped at Viking fury afterwards. We went over to Adventure Express which had a 40 min, wait, weird. They didn't play the music going up the final hill which was kind of sad though. I got bored in line and made this: IMG_9305 by KIC-Original, on Flickr We went to Delirium next, an hour wait I believe. I got another good view of the construction, upside-down though. We went over to flight Deck passing the tall fence with 3 no camping signs'. IMG_9298 by KIC-Original, on Flickr Flight Deck had a usually short line, a station wait. The view of construction was the best, at least for a second as the car raced around the bend. We went to Invertigo, short line, we were offered a front/back seat and took it. Good ride, we went back to laroses for a snack t kill time for our final ride on db that we wanted in the dark. When we got into DBs line with some (sadly) annoying kids in front of me. They concluded that dbs lift hill was 50 feet. Really. They wouldn't stop talking to us, I think they were drunk on Coke... lol. Finally getting into the station we got in the back. It was a really cool ride. We headed for the parking lot and went home. Fun day.

Sounds Great. I only live an hour from Cedar Point, and 4 hours from KI, But somehow I have gone to KI 3 times this year and not to CP! Im not sure how that happened but when I do go I hope to have as good as time as you guys, I really want to ride Gatekeeper.

Sounds fun! I like how you rode many of the flat rides as well. My brother will ride all the big rides with me and loves them, but by far his favorite is the Dodgems and Boo Blasters. I wasn't riding all that big stuff at his age, truly a ride warrior lol.

They do this at the country club we go to. Its quite neat

I haven't seen any I really liked at Ki, but the luminosity and Skeleton Crew at CP were awesome.

Wow I was thinking the same thing. A play on words with "soar" and Dino"saur". Great minds think alike I guess. I feel its a good idea. But I don't think I could really take it seriously. I think it would be a great 'kiddie' ride, but at this point I just want a coaster.

I just came back from DC, it felt nice there really warm. Of coarse when I come home though the temperature must drastically drop.

My friend got to ride GK on Thursday (this isn't a video she took). So jealous, marathon-ing it, before opening day, with no lines. What a lucky duck.

Me too. I love going into the helix with the faint light shining through the wooden boards, they kind of looks like strobe lights. The screams just ice the cake.

Nobody did a tr on Opening Day that was with me the whole day, and I had a lot of time to kill in the car so why not...? I'll warn you now that these pictures aren't very good. I just took a few throughout the day real quick. I wasn't planning on making a tpr, but why not i guess. I was really excited to go to ki all week, but on Saturday morning I just wasn't feeling up to it. At the last minute i decided to go. I was dropped off and headed for tower drinks. Me and Beastie1980 got to meet Terpy, that was really cool. Hey terp. After that we kinda split and most of went to feastus. Some ate while most of us just sat around and watched the show, it was like a rock and roll show or something... But they had Michael Jackson in there, and he's the king of pop so i didn't really get that. But I guess the MJ fans were happy, so who cares. Then the group split again and they tried to get a table at the Reds Hall of Fame Grille. Apparently that didn't work out so we all met up at hanks. Me, Beastie1980 (plus her sister summer and her mom), Muppetfan1999, and Fire-Beast-of-Fear all sat at the really short kids table and ended up talking for about 2 hours. Indyguy4ki was able to take us to see Don real quick. I've never seen do before so that was neat. Us six kinda split away from the group and headed to Flight Deck hoping the line would be shorter than the others. On the way there we saw the teaser. We decided since all the lines were going to be 2-3 hours we tried to figure out the ride that would be worth waiting for. They picked Diamondback. I wasn't all on board for starting my first ride of the season with DB since I've never rode it before, but at this point i really didn't care. We got over to DB with a nice line waiting for us. It was really fun, everything i thought it would be. The ride photo was really bad, my whole head was sideways and it looked like it was about to fall off or something. xD We then started walking to the Reds Hall of Fame Grille and made reservations, and the we got in line of the Eiffel Tower wanting to see SOB gone. Halfway through the line our table was ready and we ditched the line and ran to the Grille. Its a lot nicer than i thought it would be. The prices weren't out of this world, and they had FREE REFFILS. Yeah, I'm not sure if those are going to stay or not but we were happy about that. We went out back onto the porch and it was really close to DB. After we ate we headed towards the old Crypt building IMG_7334 by vacationphotos2013, on Flickr (you guys were standing tallest to shortest me and summer just couldn't resist snapping one ) and met up with Malem. Muppetfan1999 wanted to ride his favorite, Firehawk. That was good with me since nobody i know likes that ride and I don't really get to ride it that much. Firehawk was like an 1.5 hour wait i think. I rode with MuppetFan1999 and Summer. Me and him really liked it, while Beastie1980 took a pledge to never ride it again xD. After that we ran over to The Beast where we met up with Ohio Colts and his Family. IMG_7336 by vacationphotos2013, on Flickr We were about 4 rows of bars away from the gates when we had to stop for fireworks. About 10 min later we got onto The Beast. I sat with MuppetFan1999, we were both really excited because none of us had really had a night ride on The Beast. Both of us just had like a dusk ride. And we were off. Me and him were stunned, it seemed faster this year and it was the best Beast ride I've had. I loved the sound of the screams in the dark tunnels. After we hit the break run me and him both exchanged the 'THAT WAS THE BEST BEAST RIDE EVER' look haha. It was more fun with the Kicers too. Beastie1980 had to wait for her sister and her mom but me and Muppetfan1999 had to make a mad dash to the parking lot because we kept our rides waiting. Fire-Beast-Of-Fear also joined in and we tried to get out of the park as fast as we could. Almost no lights were on, the rides were all shut down, and nobody we in the park. Creepy... As we cut through river town, Planet Snoopy and down International Street, Fire-Beast-Of-Fear said goodbye while me and MuppetFan1999 sped walked out to the parking lot together since our rides were waiting for us in the same spot all the way near the big welcome sign. We said goodbye and Opening Day came to a close. Well actually the park closed 45 minutes ago but same thing right? It was really fun i hope to go for closing day as i will be moved down into our new house that is only 30 minutes from ki than the usual 4 hours. We headed back to our soon-to-be house where i got to pull staples out of the floor. Fun stuff. I'll definitely try to go for the next opening day. This was probably my favorite ki trip even though of the insane lines.

Muppetfan1999 and I really liked Firehawk. I'm glad we did it. Beastie1980.... Not so much lol Even though we didn't get to ride that much it was probably my favorite ki trip ever. I loved seeing all of you guys.Nice report. You have incredible observing skills lol. ALSO shoutout to Terpy! I was really happy that to see you. Not as much as Beastie1980 though, haha. She was so excited I thought she was going to dive into the fountains. Haha

How funny we stayed there too a couple weeks ago. I hope you can read my wdw tpr sometime. Sounds like you had fun!
