  1. I think we'll be seeing work from companies like RMC, gerstlauer, and possibly Mack in our future. Mack coasters are extremely expensive since they're manufactured overseas so that might be a deciding factor for the park. I like Gerstlauer but it seems like a company that's better fit for smaller tier parks like Worlds of Fun, Knott's, Valley Fair, etc. For our next *big* coaster I suspect either RMC or B&M. When was the last time Cedar Fair got a coaster from S&S?
  2. SOB dominated the skyline with the towering wood structure; similar to Steel Vengeance.
  3. Anything that Canada's Wonderland has gotten is fair game for KI in my opinion. Delirium, Drop Tower, and WindSeeker are all fun but something lime Lumberjack or Soaring Timbers would be a welcomed addition to the park.
  4. I don't see us getting a wing coaster just because Cedar Point and Holiday World both have one. It seems like the midwest area is covered when it comes to that type of coaster model.
  5. It seems like a premature topic but I came to realizing that by 2020 we'll have 3 B&Ms. The only ones we'll be missing are a wing coaster, a floorless, and a dive coaster- all of which are at Cedar Point. Additionally a flying coaster seems unlikely as does their family coaster model. With the addition of this 2020 coaster, do you think Kings Island will be finished/taking a break from B&M? I don't see us getting other type of coaster model from them in the future but its not impossible. Thoughts?
  6. Knotts has been excellent in terms of theming and animation. Cedar Point also has cool little bit of theming here and there.
  7. I finally went to the park today and rode the blue racer to see the clearing. I have to say, its gonna be something to see a giant coaster speeding along side while you're riding The Racer in 2020.
  8. A huge part of me believes that they're recycling Firehawk's que so that people in line for Flight of Fear will be able to get a good look at the new coaster as opposed to just looking at TV screens inside.
  9. Vortex at CW also has 6 car trains where as The Bat at KI has 7 which might differentiate the experiences.
  10. Could we just call The Bat a "custom clone"?
  11. What's the significance of 44? I thought X-Base/Flight of Fear was Department 47
  12. I thought I'd expand this topic to include Millennium Flyer trains for The Beast and The Racer.
  13. I would prefer them from a comfortability standpoint. PTC trains aren't that comfortable to ride in; especially when going over airtime hills. In addition I love how much space you get when you're in a millennium flyer train.
  14. Diamondback- Dead or Alive: Bon Jovi *Instrumental guitar solo as the train dispatches* The Beast- Crazy Train: Ozzy Osbourne *The song yell's "ALL ABOARD" and the train dispatches as the laughing starts* Banshee- Don't Fear the Reaper: Blue Oyster Cult *The guitar starts playing as the train dispatches*

  16. $50/75+ a ticket? I might be too generous. The distance between CP and KI is 200 miles in 3.5 hours (assuming there's no traffic). Would be an interesting service to say the least, but I'm sure that would hurt CP's resorts which is why I wouldn't ever see this happening.
  17. @DustinTheNow could you draw a concept of a dual station Invertigo? I'm curious how it would look now
  18. I remember when people thought CW was getting a giga dive
  19. This would never happen but I would love a bus that shuttles you from CP to KI; mainly because I'm too lazy to drive four hours.
  20. Its nice to see Cedar Fair venture out to different properties in different areas of the country.
