  1. No matter how much I think about it, I just can't seem to see why Cedar Fair invested in so many WindSeekers. It doesn't seem to be anyone's "favorite" ride...it doesn't deliver much of a thrill (unless you have a fear of heights, and I many - not all - with an acute fear of heights don't climb on a 300' swing ride) and it's not a ride you go to the park knowing that you're going to get right in line for. I've rode it once, and it was enough for me to know that I didn't need to ride it again. The only reason I'd hate to see it go is CF's money that was lost with it.
  2. I was there this Friday, and they've made definite progress. You can't really tell from looking at the lift hill, but you get a great look at it from the top of Adventure Express (best/creepiest at night).
  3. I was there last night as well, and it was definitely a ride walk-on night after 11! My friends and I were the only people in line for AE, so we rode back-to-back...we also rode Stunt Coaster three times and Delirium twice - once in the rain, which was also pretty empty. I've never seen so few people in the park. Thanks for the TR! I went through Cut Throat Cove before it closed, and it was a fun maze. Not beyond scary, but enjoyable.
  4. Personally, I'd love to see more rides like Stunt Coaster (maybe even one like the Spiderman/Simpsons rides @ UO? that would certainly be a change) before a massive Giga....I feel that the skyline has been so changed by new(er) rides like Diamondback and WindSeeker, that a new Giga may just be too much too soon. But, a Giga would be pretty cool...maybe some years ahead?
  5. I can't wait to see how they use the actual ride space for the new house, and it's definitely the one I'm most excited to go through. But, since its The Crypt and it's a new haunt, who knows how long the lines will be...
  6. This year during a KI trip, there were some first aid trucks going around at one point. So, my friend tried to tell me that they had opened SoB for that day, and someone had died on it. Makes sense.
  7. Hello everyone! So I've been looking through this thread and I was wondering about crowds. Last year was my first time at Haunt and I went on a saturday (mid october), and the park was packed. I knew that this would probably happen, but it was still a shock to go from the crowd earlier that day at the park to the amount of people there for Haunt. However, this year, we're going on a friday night (again, mid october). I've heard that it's significantly better, crowd-wise. If I probably don't plan on going to all of the houses/scarezones, is it worth it to buy a fright pass to get around the friday lines? Thanks!
