I have watched cycles where a ride op literally walks with the person to the seat and tells them not to pull down the restraint and yet they still try despite the sign and being told as they are sitting down. Similar to how pushing too hard on the queue gates at coasters can trip a fault, I suspect as these restraints get worked in, there may be more give on the restraints to not trip a sensor or maybe they can adjust the sensitivity. And I am sure there are other reasons why the ride goes down, but in many instances maintenance is looking at the restraint of a seat.

That is a maintenance road and is traveled frequently by maint going to/from Bat, Skyflyer, Drop Tower, Invertigo, Congo, Timberwolf, the maint access road outside the park, etc. I wouldn't read too much into vehicle traffic on that road...

Further, if I am looking to buy some to take home and there is now a line of free loaders, guess what, I keep on going and they lost a sale... It is so easy to tell the ones that have no intention on buying lol, but I'm not going to waste my time either.

Meanwhile over at Tom+Chee, instead of made to order grilled cheese like past years, they are now premade and line them up on the warmers. Walked by and nobody was there waiting for an order, and there were the sandwiches lined up waiting for people to order. Now instead of the cheese being hot and melted that you can scrape the excess with the potato chip, the cheese is now solidified again. On the positive side, it has sped up the process LOL.

I don't know if I would say a ton of work went into Timberwolf last season. They added a VIP paver area and cleaned up the place, but they could probably repurpose the paver area if they wanted to with a new improvement. As of right now SpiritSong and the Music in the Parks have been the only use of the facility with nothing else announced.

Unfortunately it has been both. Someone always feels the need to be the first to share something. And because of that they miss something obvious being built that can be seen from legally allowed areas lol...is it for Haunt or something else...

And in doing so, please respect boundaries of the park. The mention of this on social media has folks going down and entering restricted areas to try to get better pics.

So Carowinds could put the offer on the pass instead of providing a code someone would share with the whole world....

What is it with people smoking in the choke point between Sol Spin and Enrique's? They light up in the most congested area of the park. I have seen it several times over the past few weeks.

Exactly. Love the people that have to share "hacks" that then ruin it for everyone else. And especially on FB where the park now has your name and depending on the hack, could do something about it to you. There was a member here once bragging about a hack and the park invalidated his pass so that they could talk to him the next time he tried to enter the park. I have seen families take an entire pizza home. I have seen people go into Skyline and order 3-ways and hand the employee gallon ziploc bags to put the spaghetti in one bag, chili in another bag, and the cheese in another so that it travels better. Granted the park can't really do anything about this other than not provide to go containers (and they shouldn't be touching guests containers either), but it certainly isn't the intent of the program. The intent is to keep you in the park later to maybe buy a t-shirt, or hat or candy or fudge or pretzel. Come on people LOL.

My understanding is it was a Pass Perk sent directly to select individuals. Some must have felt the need to be first one to share it and be Mr. Popular and get more social media likes instead of realizing this was a perk FOR THEM ONLY. And crap like this is why Pass Perks has been around for several years and nobody has really seen anything of value associated with it. They try to offer something to someone and that person then feels the need to broadcast it and in the process gets it shut down and the whole program put on hold because they weren't smart enough to realize it was a specialized perk intended just for them.... Who knows how much this "mistake" or error of judgement of a guest now costs CF (although CF shares in the blame for not having a better system in place)? They should make the code unique to the person so they can track down who is sharing it and ban them LOL... All kidding aside, they need to figure out a way to just apply it directly to that persons pass without them needing a code to redeem and that will prevent the ability for someone to post the code for all to go to town on it until their system freezes up because thousands were redeemed. Just like when Prestige Pass became available, instead of sending a code that was then shared, have it be one of the pass options available for the select few they intended to offer it to. Here is a clue - if it isn't available on their website or posted to twitter, it is probably not intended for everyone to have access to it, so don't post it LOL.

^But the drones prevent WindSeeker and Shake, Rattle, & Roll from operating until close. Granted those aren't as popular as other rides that have to close for the event, but it does reduce available capacity on busy days.
