The Crypt building is used for a very popular haunt maze. I doubt they would remove it for something as high maintenance as a madhouse. Seeing as they just removed a totally separate maintenance nightmare by Vekoma...

The best food at KI still comes from the food trucks.
Big agree on this.

I think that is going in the wrong direction. Coasters are loud regardless of their design and materials. Why would you want to built it towards your new dorms? You are eliminating space that could be used to build a 2nd dorm building, if the demand is there.
I think the other way back through the trees towards the river makes more sense. 300’ is going to require a serious lift hill and that will need a bunch of space.
I think this is a better idea:I like this as well, only issue is the interference with the fireworks launch area. Guess it doesn't necessarily need to go that close though.

I do see it leaving the park someday, maybe within the next 15 years or so.
One can dream.

We saw prep work at the end of the season before work had started on Diamondback during that specific off season (Did that make any sense?). I’d imangine with the project being presumably larger, we would have begun to see noticeable work begin at the end of last season if the ride is to open in 2020. Of course this could totally be the case and I/we just are not yet aware of it.
It's very possible the removal of a major coaster could in fact be the prep work.

In an area of the park that has little shade, I'd prefer the water ride to stay.
Honestly I'd prefer if it went on the plot Timberwolf currently sits on... but that'll never happen.

I understand that but if the park is at capacity is there enough shelter for everyone. I have been at the park durning a warning some years back and stood in one of the IE Street shops. Nothing happened of course but Im sure that is not the safest place to be
Every area has a designated shelter in case of emergencies, when I worked at Racer we were told to shelter under the station as close to the center as possible.

Would love for us to get a Mack Multi-launch, preferably replacing something with low ridership. *cough cough* Congo Falls.

Looks great, more excited to see what kind of cosmetic changes will come to the buildings/fountains.

King's Dominion's Racer and Thunder Road is/was a superior model to King's Islands Racer. King's Island's has that stupid split at the turn arounds where the other train is a football field away. Racer 75 and Thunder Road keep the trains side by side longer before the turn around. KI Racer looses the feeling of racing at that point. The ultimate retrackign would make the turn arounds come together into a deulling turn around (like Lightning Racer), but that probably will not happen.
How dare you question John Allen's grand design

Ugh! I can't believe a nightly fireworks display got cancelled because the authorities were making sure what could have very well been a bomb wasn't gonna blow up somewhere on the park perimeter!
This MUST be the reason for the drop in ATTENDANCE!

Crowd-wise I would compare it to a typical Sunday evening, I've always spent preview night walking the park and looking for the smaller changes.

I would be very interested to know why its just our DA that is closing this year, clearly they have something planned for that area. who knows, maybe the rest will close soon.

All these improvements and they still haven't Re-painted The Racer.... It's a shame. I may be a bit biased though.
