  1. I had the opportunity to ride TR:TR one time, when the park remained under Paramount. I really, really loved it. Obviously 5-7 spins is much too straining on a ride only meant for 3-4, but I still really loved the theming and all.I also really just miss the movie magic atmosphere; for me, CP and KI now have virtually the same atmosphere. They're wonderful parks, but I feel like if they changed just one small thing, they'd improve it drastically in terms of ambiance. I'm not sure what it would be though... *And yes, I know that CP wasn't Paramount, but I needed to make a comparison, ha ha.
  2. Thanks to everyone for the advice! I got the job! I'll be working Front St. Pizza (LaRosa's) this season!
  3. Is this something that I'll find out about before I even leave? Will I find out if I got the job today? If so, that'd be awesome! And of course, I'll be sure to let everyone know how it goes!
  4. Although not said by a ride op, or a worker for that matter, my uncle insisted that Drop Zone is 500ft tall. I had to ask the worker in front of him to prove him wrong. He shrugged him off because he was "a kid". Made for a good laugh though!
  5. So has anyone here had first-hand experience with the food and beverage department? I actually signed up for ride op, but my interview is for food & bev. (beggars can't be choosers, am I right?) I'm not really sure what to expect.
  6. Thank you all for the welcoming and encouraging words! It means a lot! -M.W.
  7. Hello! My name's Matt, and tomorrow at 4, I have an interview for a job in the food and beverage department! now, this isn't my first job, but it is my first real interview. I would like to know what to expect. Aside from "Tell me about yourself?" what should I go into the interview knowing an answer for beforehand? Any tips or techniques would be wonderful. Thank you!
