  1. Just out of curiosity....is that supposed to be an "evidence" tag on the brush? Do you think it is a hint that maybe there is more to this than just a coaster?...maybe a haunted attraction at the end of the queue line before the rollercoaster ride itself? I think it would be sweet of they could build a queue/haunt hybrid station for the new coaster. The Haunt section of it would only open during October.
  2. oh, support for the transfer track. My bad.
  3. I have the pics and the supports are on a flat truck bed.
  4. Steel station supports spotted at B&M plant, and they are blue.
  5. anyone going to KI this weekend to get some new pics?
  6. They were probably unloading another bulldozer off of that flatbed truck.
  7. What happened to the guy that saw the flatbed truck this morning? I thought he was going today.
  8. You really needed to quote that i quoted the whole thing?
  9. if those are holes for more footers where SOB's helix was, this is either going to be one huge inverted coaster, or something else entirely!
  10. I agree. nice observation. I think this is very close!
  11. According to the "Banshee" coaster hints, this will be the "Field of Screams".
  12. I wonder if Congo Falls will come down. The water tower already did. This could create a path where this new coaster will fly over the midway where congo used to be.
  13. There's a first for everything, right? Who knows...maybe KI is building the worlds tallest, longest, and fastest invert. I've ridden Alpengeist, and it does not utilize the terrain in a way where it drops into a 60 foot valley, goes through inversions, and then has the speed to get back up and out of it and back into the station. There's such a thing as a second lift hill. or perhaps a LAUNCH up out of the valley!!!
  14. I've ridden Alpengeist, and it does not utilize the terrain in a way where it drops into a 60 foot valley, goes through inversions, and then has the speed to get back up and out of it and back into the station.
  15. You are completely clueless. Notice how i said GOOD invert. there is enough room to build a "sleeper" like PATRIOT though. Maybe you are the one who is clueless. Just explain it to us then professor.
  16. there just isn't enough land to build a good invert where thunder alley and king cobra were. Raptor, montu, etc, all take up way more space. it would not use the SOB land because it would have to drop down into that valley and inverts are never designed to go that far out and back.
  17. although i'd rather see a giga, i wouldn't mind a dive or invert, as long as they are record breakers in almost every category.
  18. They could still get a bargain and order multiple different coasters and get a better price from B&M. I'm sure B&M would be happy to get multiple orders for all or any one of their coasters.
  19. Odds are is that Screamscape's "source" is this site. They probably saw the pics from the B&M plant and found out that was wing coaster track and tadaaaaaaa, Screamscape has confirmation that it is a B&M wing coaster. Let's keep in mind that Cedar Point just built a WC. why would Cedar Point want to have the same kind of coaster in the same state? Also, coaster construction on Gatekeeper didn't break ground till october. This probable coaster broke ground in Feb., or March and it is in a way bigger area than a wing coaster usually takes up. The logic for a wing rider going in next year at KI just isn't there.
  20. Comparing these pieces of track to that of Gatekeeper, the size in the picture above is different from Gatekeeper. Counting the holes, that are used for bolting the pieces together, on the sides of the track (Not counting the top and bottom rows) there are three holes. Looking at Gatekeeper's track, there are 4 holes on the sides (again not counting the Top and Bottom Rows). Aside from Mr. Ouimet's statement about no wing riders next year (I can't remember the exact time frame he said), I'd say based on the difference in track, we can assume for sure that the coaster above is not Wing rider track. ^^ My photo from a Gatekeeper construction tour. what about dive coaster track?
  21. I have to control myself from getting too excited because I know they may not be for us! I wish there was a way to know I think that is a lot of supports for the small amount of footers the KI has for the new project. This does look like a wing or dive coaster to me. I know Cedar Fair's CEO said none of the Cedar Fair parks are getting a wing coaster next year. therefore, this could be for a six flags park, etc. also, Gatekeeper didn't start construction till early fall. giga's and hypers always seem to start way earlier. I'm clueless as to what it is too. i wish i knew!
  22. Don keeps posting "dive" teasers on twitter though. A DIVEersion?! HMMM...I also don't think a dive coaster would start construction this early. They are shorter in length and don't take as long to build as hyper's and giga's. Gatekeeper didn't start till much later.
