  1. I know I have less than 10 posts here but that does not mean I know nothing. The track pieces that have been posted here are indeed for a Wing Coaster (where....we do not know but some have been saying that track is a dive coaster which it is definitely not) Following the "WI" on the track label is the letter "G" which represents the 7th Wing Coaster (Gatekeeper was F and FOTR was E). For those that are hoping for an inverted coaster, if the label says "IC2", the track is for an invert (they use the 2 because they ran out of letters to use; they also skip some letters because some look close to numbers). Finally, a giga (or hyper) would have to have the code "MC" in it. I know most of this has been mentioned but some seem to be ignoring what people are saying which is true. Oh, and that yellow track being talked about above went to China. http://rcdb.com/9647.htm
  2. ok well when was the photo of the track piece taken? And I'snt flying over the rainforest completed already No. Still under construction. FOTR was completed back in December..... the park is almost ready to open. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1258618#p1258618 It doesn't look like there is any wood under the green track in the pic above that I know the plant uses to "protect" the track so maybe it had somesort of defect....after all, it is the exact same colour.
  3. All of you are saying that you think its a giga or an invert but no one knows. Tell you what, I'm sure most people here know how to read B and M codes on the track and supports so why doesn't someone go down to the plant and take a quick pic of the sticker on the supports. Then we will know what model what ever coaster they are manufacturing is.
  4. The info I'm about to say came directly Canada's Wonderland's general manager: The B and M clause was that no B and M coaster could be built within a certain distance (I forgot the number) from Cedar Point exculding andy Cedar Fair park. At the time, CW wasn't owned by CF so wonderland had to settle with a SLC. Belive it or not, Wonderland was 2 miles away from getting the B and M invert. I think the deal was only against Paramount though the manager never said who if it was for any park or just Paramount.

  6. That would be because there are no reliable sources that state the ride is open. If you look at the talk page of the article, there's been a disscussion of the "issue" but there's not much we can do. I'll add the out of date tag later today.
  7. I don't think the show has nothing to do with KI. The announcement likely has to do with some roller coaster manufacture announcing a new model. If I'm right, I hope its B&M!
  8. That's most likely for the wing coaster opening in Asia. I highly doubt that as track work was completed a long time ago. Busch had exclusivity clause with B&M on the Dive Coaster model for a number of years after SheiKra and Griffon were built. What are your sources on this? Just wondering. http://www.bizjournals.com/tampabay/stories/2004/10/25/daily27.html As it turned out, the deal was for 5 years as a SheiKra clone was built in 2009.
