  1. We wanted a giga. We more than likely are getting a giga. People don’t like this giga. But we are STILL getting a giga. (Note to reference. I know Hyperion is a hyper coaster: 253 ft, but it doesn’t exceed 5,000 ft of track and still looks awesome). Some of y’all need to relax. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Oh blast from the past. Let’s all go back to 2016 when they announced Mystic Timbers and the name instantly became a meme. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I just spit out my morning tea! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I feel like most people call it Fury anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. “Mason....the numbers...what do they mean?” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Reading the WCPO article on Facebook wasn’t as cringeworthy as the comment section. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. When I look at Cedar Point, I see maybe 4 “world class attractions” at best Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I like the name Orion, but it sounds too bland. I feel like something else might be added on (please no numbers) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I don’t think they used it just because it looks cool, and I’m not even referring to the numbers, because at this point numbers don’t mean anything. With the recent trademark filings of Polaris and Orion, this photo opens up the possibilities of theme. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. There’s a lot you can take out of this picture Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I totally agree with that, I mean they have the space (no pun intended). Go for it! “To infinity and beyond!” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Okay, let me play for a second...again probably the minority here. 1.) Cedar Point May have a ton of rollercoasters, but not even a quarter of them are “killer” and there are other coasters in the country that are overshadowed because they don’t have the record that the CP model has. 2.) Kings Island had its killer coasters in The Racer, The Beast, Vortex and Son of Beast in the Taft/Paramount Era. In the Cedar Fair era, we have been gifted (so far) with Diamondback, Banshee and Mystic Timbers. With Son of Beast being the only one I’ve mentioned that is defunct, it still gives you a pretty well rounded and diverse lineup and with this new coaster it just adds another layer to the cake. 3.) A park doesn’t necessarily need a “killer” coaster for people to travel. I view KI almost like BGW (who are both getting new HUGE additions in 2020). Both parks have a coaster lineup in which it seems each coaster is unique on its one, but it compliments the rest of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. To put Kings Island on the map?? I may be in the minority here, but with the strong history the park has, and it’s additions within the last decade, it truly hasn’t fallen off of this “map”. People know The Beast for length, and yeah, it may not be ‘universally loved’ as say Fury 325 today, but The Beast has a long and proud history something that I truly believe Fury 325 will NEVER be able to touch (bold claim, but whatever). With that being said, a giga no doubt will be a wonderful addition and will sure bring people in, but Kings Island is already on this “map” you speak of, being constantly one of the better amusement parks in the country. IMO, a giga would only add to, dare I say, the legacy that is Kings Island (which was already “on the map”). Again, I’m probably in the minority. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. So I realize some are so concerned with the lift being parallel to Diamondback. I could see the lift go in either of these directions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Fury is relatively quiet. I’ll get the chance to experience Leviathan Labor Day weekend Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Does anyone else remember the time Diamondback had a loud roar (along the lines of Kumba and Raptor)? I may be the only one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Hopefully none considering there is a sizable fence around the perimeter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. If this indeed is a giga (and I’m 99.999% sure that it is), what are us poor, Kings Island fanatics going to beg for next? Once it’s here, it’s here. Just looking towards the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. To play devils advocate, all the land for Banshee was already cleared thanks to demolition of Son of Beast. On top of that, the Thunder Alley. Mystic Timbers Construction really pick up until August really, and Diamondback (although I was young) I don’t recall all of the land for Diamondback being cleared in 2008. Give it time. The park just opened and people are already like “Is that all?” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. This wouldn’t be a bad move in the future, however, if Kings Island builds a giga, this is the time and this will most definitely be the place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Why do people think that’s all the clearing that’s going to happen and the park has only been open for 2 weekends? R-E-L-A-X. It’s still April. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. No...just no (jk, it’s pretty big) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Also does anyone know why there are traffic cones in Firehawk’s plot? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Oh okay. Right now, I’d say yellow. However, the red outline isn’t too far off from what looks like is about to happen in the next few weeks or so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. The red has a bit more clearing north of Racer. That’s the only major difference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
