  1. Is anyone at the park that wants to meet up? I'm currently waiting in line for Diamondback, and would love to meet some of you Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk

  3. I'm on it. But, it will take a while, because I am also incorporating surrounding rides and scenery.Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
  4. With all this talk about parks and their wooden coaster lineups. Besides Kings Island with a "legendary" and soon to be a top notch wooden coaster lineup, and Holiday World with their amazing collection, people seem to forget about Dollywood. Even though there are only two, in my opinion, their wooden coasters are top notch. I'm actually really happy with this addition. No, we do not know specifics quite yet, but this layout looks very promising. Kings Island typically does very well with using the terrain (i.e. Banshee, Diamondback, Beast, even The Bat). A wooden coaster was much more needed than a giga. But I do believe we will see one soon. Maybe sooner than we all think. Do not be upset that we are getting a NEW addition. Be thankful! This attraction could be pretty special. As I mentioned before, it could very well be a formidable night ride. On top of that (if it is), KI is already home to some if not the best night rides on the planet, and I think a wooden coaster darting in and out of the woods will provide that better experience rather a Giga. Just my two cents. I know people may disagree, but hey...that's life. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
  5. In this layout, am I the only one who could see the possibility of tunnels, and yet another unique night ride experience? Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
  6. I would rather have Invertigo stay and Congo Falls be removed. I just don't think Action Zone (in that location) would be a good fit for a Giga coaster. Rivertown is sure to get a resurgence following next year's addition. From the way I see it though, the "dead ends" of the park are by WindSeeker, Xbase, and The Bat. 7. IMO, this would be the worst possible location for a giga.Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk Curious (really not trolling or being harsh)...Is that statement hyperbolic? I would think so since there are plenty of other obvious choices that would be worse. If not hyperbole, what makes you say that? Based on what we (think we) know, all we've seen so far is markers for a pathway. The fence itself isn't much larger than a queue entrance...the station house for the ride could be several hundred feet from the entrance/fence (like The Bat - seriously, the walk to/from is longer than the actual ride if there's minimal wait). It's possible any clearing being done for the actual ride can't be see from anywhere inside the park that guests can get to aside from the Eiffel Tower. And the view from the tower may be at an angle it's hard to perceive a path being cleared in the trees. I'm gonna see if I can fly over the area in the next week or two just to see what it looks like from above. In response to this, the reason I say it would be the worst possible space for a giga is due to the amount of rides currently in Action Zone. I never said it was impossible for one to go in that section of the park. Granted, if KI were to remove Congo Falls and Invertigo, it would free up some space and not have the area look so congested. I'm not degrading your opinion. I'm just simply stating mine.Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk

  9. This made me feel old...and I'm only 19. What's even scarier is that I remember this episode. She was helping a falling star.Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
  10. This is sure to be an "interesting" development. It's summer...time to start drilling, pouring, and more clearing...About 2 months until a possible announcement. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
  11. Splintercat you say? Cat got your tongue? The name isn't catchy, but great decoding. Purrrrrfect. Meow. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
  12. I find Kings Island to be better than Cedar Point for the fact that KI still has charm. To be fair, I am more familiar with Kings Island, considering I live only 5 minutes from the park. In terms of rides, Banshee trumps Raptor and Diamondback barely surpasses Magnum in my book, but in my eyes those are really the only coasters that can adequately be compared. Yes, I know CP has Dragster, but as I have stated before, I find the ride to be overrated, along with many other rides (Gatekeeper, Rou, and even the new Valravn). Arguably, some would agree the same can be said for rides at Kings Island. I am not saying Cedar Point is not a good park, but I am saying it is not the best park, even if it is crowned "The Coaster Capital of the World". Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk

  15. In my opinion, most B&M Wing coasters are better than Gatekeeper. Records, does not "necessarily" mean better. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
  16. Even if those pieces aren't coming to KI (I hope they are), that green is screaming. If it is for us, what color will the supports be? Please, no more "Shades of Blue" (J.Lo I love your show honey). But seriously, what color would look good with this shade of green besides white or grey? Mmm.... Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
  17. No Limits 2 may be a pain to learn, but there are numerous helpful tutorials. Also, you could just toy around with it and figure it out as you go. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
  18. I find myself doing this on the lift hill.Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
  19. I'm not saying it is a coaster, because I really do not know, but why rule it out. Kings Island just opened roughly a month ago. Give it some time. Quick story, when I went to Carowinds in July of 2014, I don't even remember seeing concrete for footings yet. Relax. August will be here before you know it. Rome wasn't built in a day. 21. It's a tie between "Counting Stars" by One Republic and "The Walker" by Fitz and the Tantrums. (For those who don't know it, just hear the whistles) Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk

  23. I have finally gotten around to put a comment on this thread. All I can say is if it is a coaster, wood or steel, people will not be happy. Posts about there possibly being a wooden coaster too close to The Beast, or a large scale B&M being close to Diamondback would look wierd and would drastically make the skyline look uneven are somewhat ridiculous. The possibility of getting another large attraction is very exciting, and whatever the park is doing, I'm sure it will be a great addition....Fiery Fist O' Pain. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk
  24. I haven't really posted much on here, but I thought about what KI could possibly be getting in the future. I made a giga coaster called "Gigasaur". It is on YouTube. Not saying they will get a giga coaster, but it was just a thought I had.
