  1. I highly doubt that would happen.
  2. See http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php/topic/27917-Banshee-construction-progress/page-232#entry600028 for the rattle deal, it's been there since forever, for a specific reason as well..
  3. I could see the loose article deal becoming an issue, unless this isn't a loose article (Say if it was integrated into the restraint or something) However I see a potential for issues with timing..and what do you do in the case of a stack on the brake run? Lift stop, etc. Is it just a black screen or what? It's a sweet concept and could be a game changer if done right, but it's ganna need ALOT of development
  4. All I want and its been said over and over, reprofile the rails and bents to make a more accommodating ride for maint. and guests alike. Maybe then a trim brake removal too. It's layout is very fun, I enjoy twisters. Just needs some worthy tlc and it'd be as fantastic as big blue up front
  5. You can ride without the trim by doing a certain thing..I wouldn't advise..but it actually is a much more fantastic ride that is almost a very enjoyable coaster. It stays on the rails the whole way except for the last turn before the safety brake. I still say I want the Blue Streak trains on Mean Streak however, and fresh graphite on the rails.
  6. Monster always will load two or four arms mainly..running all with full cycle is an operational nightmare and a pain in the ass. We open arms as needed. If I can load one arm sweet, if I need a second, cool, after that I'll clear 1 bring the other arms down, load, lock, and check those, then clear cycle. After cycle bring the first arms down and repeat unload and load procedures, then go to the next. Loading and unloading full arms can take about 7-15 minutes for a one minute cycle depending on guests and difficulty with restraints..so you'll actually eat up more of the line with four arm cycle, make guests happier, and not as much of an operational strain
  7. Just watched the video Six Flags pulled a Kinzel and bought the same ride for practically every park.. Critiques later when I have time.. The way the CEO says world cracks me up..and his eyes go big lol
  8. I invited you to another park that's all I'm saying
  9. ^^You also forgot to include that you are a man and always wrong.. Even if you are in a forest and no woman is around to hear you speak It's just life..
  10. Lol yup..I hear ya.. I just need laundry to finish..0430 wakeup here I come, at least unlike another here they're up and fully ready by that time. That's when I roll out of bed to shave lol
  11. Lol, I'm still slightly recovering..Doing that two weekends back to back with work in between, it takes it's toll. This is the first weekend in three weeks I'm not busy doing something at least.
  12. I'm just upset a bit the Plantation House looks to be removed.. But aside it's a sweet bit of upgrades so far to that park. Quite impressed and happy with what they're doing down there.
  13. Back there behind us somewhere..
  14. I would if I ever had to come back to the parks, I'd love to get back into operations. But with Military for now, that can not work. But when I go to college, during the summers, I may return to momma park, or if KI had an opening I wouldn't mind working at other CF locations and making them a better place for guests and employees.
  15. Poor new pavement..ah well, no one was hurt, and a car & concrete can all be replaced.. But *slow clap*
  16. Who the hell comes from Rome to KI? That would be like someone from Bora Bora heading to Cincy..why? Lol Message not sponsored by Performance Kings Honda
  17. For some reason SOP @ KI does not allow stopping trains on the lift and taking said device. Hell about 90% of times or more, the op in controls doesn't even use the cameras to watch the lift/brake run when it passes through the zone to view the guests & trains. They're more concerned with watching the train park in the same way it always has everyday, and counting time for power hours and dispatch interval. Controls main job is to watch all ride units at all times as well as review the panel when able to safely do so and make sure there are no discrepancies or safety related issues. That's the basic definition of responsibilities in controls. So why the park refuses to look at safety related issues such as a cell phone on a ride that goes almost 70mph and one part able to eject the object over a busy midway is beyond me. This is in violation of the ride's loose article policy, ORC, and the companies own cornerstones it stands proudly on. With Banshee, yeah, you'd have to ride stop, and go down/up guest article for a few minutes. But going downstairs, unlocking one fence to a set of stairs, and climbing up the lift hill a bit to take one phone can make or break that one fluke where a guest loses that article and is a repeat of so many other safety incidents involving loose articles that I know of. It's better to stop operation of a ride to make sure everyone is as safe as possible during the duration of the ride, than to skip it for the sake of numbers or guest satisfaction with their time in the queue, than to have to stop once during the day because you need EMT's on scene, police, etc, and it becomes a much larger issue. I'd be happy to see the ride go down to make sure the guests are safe as that reiterates their focus to the main responsibilities of their job, than to see them cycle, then guess what, we're queued up for a ride that's going to be down for some time because ops couldn't pay attention or do what was needed to prevent an issue from happening. I think most guests would agree with this stance. It's seriously not that hard to do what's needed that I explain above. That guest may not know the rules, there are stupid people out there. Reiterate the rules sternly and explain, that might get through to them, and if not, park security will def have your back if needed, they are there for a reason. So all in all, let ops on platform watch the train park. If something happens they let go of the dispatch enable or they hit e stop, let them focus on that. The op in controls needs to watch the train on the lift & the panel to make sure no discrepancies, and occasionally watch the platform to make sure they don't need to release/lock a set of restraints, cross, etc. That's all secondary to safety. Once the ops are good on platform, they'll clear, you'll see what you need on panel and platform, you call a clear, and watch the train dispatch completely, then get back to monitoring outside of platform with your cameras & what you have visuals on. Safety is #1 ALWAYS. Until the SOP @ KI is changed, their focus is elsewhere and not guaranteeing this cornerstone to it's guests and employees, all day, every day, and every guest.
  18. Ah..and I remember this time last year people kept saying..oh it doesn't stack.. Please let me work platform one day..please..There's so much that can be done to speed up operations..
  19. See I never disowned or hated the challenge, I just didn't like seeing folks do it and not donate, or just do it to do it without educating themselves. Articles like that are AWESOME. Now I agree with the guy, the whole African Meme kid and this & that to make it seem like, oh why do that, it is dumb. I simply said, hey it's great, but we can be better. I'm not one to say this isn't doing a good job, it's done alot of good in two weeks, which is sweet. However, me wanting more for these people, I expect more out of those being involved. See 50 Cent for instance. He goes off saying this is an "ASL/ELS" challenge. Obviously he doesn't even care what it was, and had another agenda to begin with, and doesn't plan on donating unless his agenda was met. That stuff irks me. It's there, it's known, but common, not even one read of a Wikipedia article? Do the challenge safely, but educate yourself, and make sure you donate. Don't do the bare minimum, be like this guy who has ALS, and go out, donate, do the challenge, and keep up with it like the ALS walk coming up all across the nation. That is awesome activism. Most do just the minimum, but dedicate yourself to it, and go above & beyond. That's literally my only concern. I don't get how I can be faulted or whatever for just wanting more for this group of people stricken with a terrible disease process.
  20. I hear that's just the tip of this here iceberg.
  21. Until you go to CP with me and we acquire Diabeetus in half a day
