I feel bad for those people, but there has been times on ttd where I am afraid there is going to be a riot when a person is holding up the line trying to squeeze in.

A premier spaghetti bowl launch coaster. Very original. Give me Joker's jinx at six flags any day. So annoying to be in line at KI and the lights go out in the que and everyone screams.

If it does not cost much maintenance wise to keep Vortex running it will be here for years. The general public loves it. I am sure stunt track cost a fortune to maintain. Tear that POS down there and put up a floorless or invert. Does not take up to much room. Paramount still peeves me off to this day with their crappy rides based on crappy movies. Carowinds got a b&m invert and a vekoma flyer while we got tomb raider the ride, IJST, face/off, SOB(I liked it) and really that's about it. Really Delirium and SOB was the only things Paramount did that was worth a crap. Paramount spend over 20 million on that tomb raider POS and probably with maintenance over 100 million on SOB.

anything built on a larger scale will be more forceless. WIth a giga/strata you have the drop or the launch and that's it. Look at how forceful BTR's are and they are barely a 100'. Goliath at SFOG is more forceful than Diamondback. Alpengeist at BGW is the or one of the tallest fastest inverts and it sucks.

I have no idea why anyone would want a forceless b&M looper. Lift, drop, vertical loop, dive loop, zero g, cobra roll, interlocking cork screws. The standard floorless b&m.

I never claimed it was going to KI, just that I saw intamin track. Get your facts straight brother. as far as we know it could be in a storage wharehouse KI rents to store stuff.

I have been to CP twice and Ki three times this season. I hate to say it cause KI is my home park but there is no comparison.

According to that line of argument, shouldn't Flight of Fear have an amazing capacity because of its separate load/unload stations? Diamondback has a listing of 325 more pph than force. Millennium routinely sends a train out as the train running the track is coming out of the last tunnel. Diamondback should have a train half way up the lift or 2/3's when the train on the track hits the mid course brake. Routinely there is stacking taking place and the b&ms should be quicker with no seat belt. Flight of Fear should hit 2000 pph hitting interval routinely but they are lucky to get 1000pph with all the stacking.

With millennium force's two stations load/unload its not bad capacity wise. Cedar Point's crew routinely hits interval better than KI's Diamondback crew for years.

Track will go up sooner than later if its a bigger coaster and its out away from everything.

I am still pretty confident in my source of the b&m giga. But after seeing the intamin track I am hopeful. If you compare the footprint of the construction site to the footprint of Diamondback there is more room than you think for a giga. A out and back with a twister layout after the mid course brake and a double helix finale.

How is the maintenance dept at KI? What if Cedar Fair settled with Intamin over the downtime of TTD and got a discount on a new rocket coaster. Without a discount a 475' rocket would be around 30 million. With a discount and technical support maybe 25 million would be all that is needed to set a height record.

RB has to have trims since the train travels the tracker quicker than they planned. To the left of the picture is a long way to have the first part a out and back with hammerhead and back to a twister 2nd half.
