  1. After reading this thread I am fairly certain the YoungStud is the same person as the banned 'PointGuru' on pointbuzz. Just based on the restraint argument he just had.
  2. Some of you guys reallllly need to learn how to take a joke, or some sarcasm sometimes. Loosen up a little! Anyways, my prediction: I really have no clue, the DIVErsions have been too good and I'm not sure what to believe, even the name. I have a feeling it is neither Banshee or Bat. I think that a 200'+ invert would be awesome and the only thing I hope not to see is a wing rider, or an inverted wing rider.. since Cedar Point is my home park.
  3. Bat or owl, still the point I was trying to make. He's pointing at old clues, not a wing rider. I must have had owl on the brain instead of bat.
  4. Don's tweet is most obviously about an owl, an animal that has been hinted at for months, not hinting towards a wing rider. EDIT: post wasn't directed at khan
  5. For the first time in three days I am all caught up on reading the posts. I'm still holding out for my original prediction which was a B&M Dive Machine, however, I wouldn't mind a newer styled and upgraded invert though, maybe an inverted dive? Guess we'll find out soon enough.
  6. Often I read responses without first reading who posted, and if I find a post that is slightly annoying or written a certain way I'll scroll back up and look to see who it was; I swear 80% of the time that person is Secondson. Sorry man, your posts are kinda 'irking'. Anyways, after seeing this announcement date, I might make the 8th my one trip down from Toledo this year!
  7. It's not meant to be thought of out of the box. He means literally, to be considered a hyper, it can not have inversions. If a 'hyper invert' were made it would probably belong in its own new category. Edit: Three people beat me to it. Suppose I should reload the page before posting.
  8. If anyone has an account to view information, I'd check weight station on I-71 SB near Wilmington. Haven't done it before but I've seen others post them. That would be coming from Columbus. My .02
  9. You quoted all that to say "true"? It's nice to see the progress that is being done, I hope on my trip down from Toledo sometime next month there are supports starting to pop up.
  10. With the triangular footers I see an element that enters and leaves in the same fashion, so to say. Like a loop or a camelback hill, because the footers are perfect opposites of each other with the points of the triangle pointing towards each other. It also does not look like an invert in my opinion. If you look at Raptor at CP, nearly every support piece consists of footers in pairs.
  11. Hmm, maybe Big Sexy can't recognize the difference between Intamin and B&M. Ha
  12. Maybe Clermont Steel is switching to Intamin parts.
  13. From what I've seen in pictures the long rectangular footers are seen in low areas where two supports are needed but are close enough together to be placed on one footer (like the triangular one that is set up for three connections on the KI site).
  14. Type: B&M Dive Height: 270'+ Inversions: 4 Track color: Grey/Supports dark green Theme: ? Length: 4500' + Hoping to see a Dive Coaster, one taller and faster than Griffon would be pretty amazing, plus these coasters provide a unique intimate view, if done right, for the guests and those waiting in line. With the 45 degree lift and turnaround into vertical drop it's all up close to view.
