OK....so what happened to serving alcohol/ beer during the weekdays before 5pm?!? I wouldn't mine a sipper or 2 through the day. The Reds Grille turned away a lot of business today. Is this rule going to change during peak season???

Ok...so I rode Banshee, for the first time, 4 times today and it was AMAZING!!! There is not one dull moment throughout the ride and the Banshee scream at the top of the lift is an AMAZING choice! The only thing is.... it seems bumpier on the outside of the train. I thought it might have just been train 2 but train 3 was bumpy on the outside too. I rode front middle and back and out of all of them I prefer front middle. IDK if it is just working out some kinks but I had to take a moment and crack my neck a few times after.

It seems like Banshee has a pretty good theme to it and we will see if they add the Fog effect with gravestones during the ride like it is in the animation. Seems as if the park is under new management so all that could be thrown out the window. Repainting a coaster and its station and giving it a new name could be an inexpensive way for next year's capital improvement while boosting 2015 attendance, souvenir sales, and ridership.

Super Pumped for this!!!! Made it an effort to make it to the park for the announcement and the scream gave me chills. I'm glad Banshee was finally used as I was highly disappointed that it was not used back with Mantis but this is a better fit! Also.... did anyone else notice the gravestones at the Pretzel loop?!!?!? Looks like Cedarfair is starting to get into themeing! I will deff be there opening day!!!

Augh I'm so thrown off now. I always wondered why the loop threw the lift seemed so much wider than an invert. Maybe it's because it's a wing coaster and not an invert...... The Bat logo seems like it would fit Kings Island marketing really well. And didn't Don tweet something about going back to the start or something? But then why Celtic Gravestones?!?!

So it had me thinking of the world records this attraction will break. If it is an inverted it will most likely beat Alpengeist. It comparison it looks longer and with that comes height and speed. Also it doesn't seem as if there will be a MCBR due to all the elements towards the end of the ride if these are the correct blue prints. Possibly looking at 200+ feet high IMO.

Maybe B&M will finally get what they wanted with the name Banshee. I heard that when they built 'Banshee', Dick Kinzel wanted to cut cost so a lot of features were excluded from the ride (ie brake run at the end would be enclosed with special effects inside). This ****ed off B&M so they 'took a break' from Cedar Fair. Didn't see a B&M till Talon in 2001. I wouldn't be surprised if Cedar Fair and Intamin took a break. This is just what I heard and looked for backup on the Internet but couldn't find anything.

Gigas need room to sprawl out. If it was indeed a giga, we would see more footers sprawled out with a better guide to its layout that we would decode. The area behind Delerium and Slingshot is to compact to provide the room that the gigas need. Plus there are way too many footers in that area. I could see a Giga being built more along the parking lot where the ampitheater is but thats another topic that we wont get on! So if not right now than soon enough. How long did it take Intamin to build another Giga after Millenium Force? 10 YEARS!! And to have one in the same state would be absurd... Sorry YOUNGstud.....its not an Intamin Giga.

So at what point would they start producing merchandise for the new ride? I know for fashion it is about a year before the selling season that companies start buying merchandise. Could we find a clue that way? I wonder what company they source for their souvenirs? Just trying to think outside of the box to try and get hints.

The Bat looked like an intense coaster!!! As much as I would love to see the Banshee name finally used, I wouldn't mind The Bat name again. I can see it being used again more so than King Cobra due to the supernatural clues.

You ruined a park map! Yes that is right!!! I ruined it just so you would cry about.Now I think I'll burn it and post a picture of it. Muuuuhahaha! But seriously, I have like 15-20 of those in my junk drawer. 315 foot hill into a low to the ground banked turn?!? YIKES!!!!!
