The only reason I would think they would shoot for a haunt launch is if B&M couldn't make track fast enough for a start of season launch. If the old thread doesn't return soon I won't be participating here any longer.

This is assuming they are planning on the start of 2014 being the launch for the attraction. With it being fear related I wouldn't put it past them to be shooting for a haunt 2014 launch.

So whats the excuse in reasoning for cleaning it up? If we abide by the ToS I don't see any excuse for cleaning up "aka censoring" our public forum thread. THIS is how you kill a community. FYI The discussion of many shouldn't be hindered by the lack of judgment of the few.

I'll be heading back first thing in the morning... I'll report back with findings. Sorry I couldn't get any pics of the area of the lot coned off, they would have been too dark to make out anyway.

I just left the park after riding the last beast train of the night. I can confirm the that a huge area of the parking lot was coned off in the north lot near the Wolf lodge parking booth extending from the road that cuts across the parking lot all the way to the lot line near the trees boarding the park. There was some equipment staged but it was very dark to make out what it was.

Not every tweet by KingsIslandPR is about what they're building for the future. Kings Island's forecast today includes a lot of sun. You need to read my post a little closer. I was being sarcastic, reason for the LOL! I was poking fun at everyone who thinks every tweet is about the new attraction. Humor around decoding non related tweets got stale 20 pages ago... just my opinion.

Theme enhancements require maintenance to ensure functionality, this much is certain.

Would be nice if they supported some type of theme enhancement (lights, water mist), but beyond that I doubt it. Considering how close the new projects footers are to them though it wouldn't surprise me. Seems like it would be a lot easier to remove them to make room for setting the track up if they didn't plan to use them.

Little known fact.. White Water Canyon is made by Intamin.

I feel like someone don't want us on their trail... so they derail us with... snickers bars(NO CAMPING)! Don's said the announcement prob wont happen this summer, the ride has a paranormal theme... who's willing to bet on a Haunt related announcement campaign.

I was there yesterday (Thursday) and noticed that new footers were being poured right next to the new location of the fence. I believe the machine shown sticking above the fence in the pic above was digging holes for the footers, can't be certain. I did see holes with the round metal supports in them ready for concrete less than 4 feet from the fence. I wonder if perhaps the water tower being removed from AZ was in preparation for the new coaster crossing the midway. Them moving the fence and dropping new footers where the fence once was kinda points to them developing in that direction. (Long time lurker, first post.. hello everyone!)
