Idk if this is relevant or if anyone else has pointed this out, but on Twitter they are using the hashtag #TEOTWAWKI. I think it stands for The End Of The World As We Know It. Correct me if im wrong.

The posters are beautiful! Also, while on Racer, on the trip back, looking to the right I saw something big and blue in a red shed. Dunno for sure what it is, but that's a thing I guess? Enjoy my addition to the box!

If thats the case, and it's the big red barn, you might be able to see it from over at KMAA or right next to the old arcade.

This thing is huge @Fye Coasters what is it?

Like others have said, that's just a baby crane. Thats the one to unload track off trucks and build the real cranes.

So does that really mean the brake run sits 60'ish feet above the station?

At start it does, but it has a pretty good downslope to it like Leviathan.

Can somebody refresh my memory on Mystic Timbers’ name getting spoiled, cuz I was kind of Ms. MT and I don’t recall that. Granted my memory is crap. But all I remember is looking it up after the announcement and only finding a vaguely Mary Jane friendly company having any association with the name...

Here's the post below. He didn't post it on the page, but he did message it to me and others and was correct.

I know we're still more than 24 hours out from the announcement, but I can't stop refreshing this discussion. I halfway expect there to be some sort of leak before the announcement lol

MT's name got leaked at the last minute, so it wouldn't be surprising.

Am I the only one that wants to know what was in that little tin box inside the Eiffel Tower clue box??

I wonder if the big box is still up there with a lock on it like yesterdays box?

I agree, the diving attraction is a nice change of pace for Cedar Fair.  The concept art makes it look much higher than it is but the top dive is 25 feet.

25 ft is a lot higher when you are standing on top looking to jump. I did a similar jump at Blue Hole in Jamaica and it gets your heart pounding. Not too many people would jump from higher than that I don't think.

That being said, I am surprised they are adding this. It's only a matter of time till someone who thinks they are a bad a.. tries some stupid flip and lands on his neck. I love that they added it and would like one at KI, I just don't know if it'll work in a theme park environment.

Lol, it is crazy that we are almost at 400!

    2014 got to 459.

Of course that one had the joy of people looking at footers that were clearly for a B&M Inverted insisting they were for an Intamin Giga. That had to be worth an extra 60 pages of denial.

I’m going o the park on Friday so it will be really exciting to see track onsite and being installed!!

I'd bet against track being installed friday. Even if they get it to the site Friday, they still have to get cranes on site and assembled. Maybe next week they will start, but it may be longer than that.

Honest question that I'm not sure if it was discussed yesterday. Do we know why the evidence book is "clawed"/shredded at the bottom? Is this a reference to anything? Or is it suppose to look like someone tried to get rid of it and failed?

In the video with Chad, it said it looked like someone tried to put it through a shredder.

The lift hill for Fury 325 was topped off in early December of 2014. I would suspect our Giga will have a similar timeline of construction

They didn't start vertical construction until the end of September though. This should start a month earlier than that, so an early November topping off is possible. Possibly even before the end of haunt.

That track is a transfer track. One way of knowing is, the ends is painted, connecting tracks are just primer in between

And again... blueprints have supposedly been calculated by every engineer ever and the coaster is super short...well, now we are getting told its longer than Diamondback...

Dont go off the blueprints... keep an open mind because we are already seeing things like track length is far better than calculated to be the shortest new ride ever, lol.

Yeah, the blueprints don't have the track length on them. But hey, keep on praying they are fake.

I bet it's a name not one person has posted yet. Pretty sure nobody guessed the name of Mystic Timbers either if I remember right.

No one guessed it, but it got leaked the day of or before the announcement.

then say that politely to the guy? dont say "jesus christ skipping 4 pages because of you" just simply let the guy know in a polite way what he could do better to ease the viewing experience on this thread for mobile users.

...and your point? I for one dont care if you post photos or not. That dont affect me. You can be posting photos but still be rude with replies. As someone mentioned page back, they should use song "you need to calm down" to describe all us lol.

OT: I was reading back & saw someone mention they could promote the blue ice cream with white whipping cream on top or make it blue and white swirl to fit the color theme of the ride. that'd be awesome. :P

He's been told a few times that obsessively sending stuff to a news anchor is creepy and a bad reflection on this community. Sending him stuff from another news station is even worse. At some point you have to stop being polite and start getting real.

They do some of the most costly coasters out there. A tall fence with locking gate is in the budget.

B&M gets most of that money. They are getting paid the going rate for metal fab. They don't design the pieces. No one is backing their F150 onto the lot and loading up a piece of track. They aren't putting up a fence to keep teens from taking pictures.

Can't believe people can just drive right onto the property with no security. Must be the same security co. that was working at the Jeffrey Epstein prison. Ha!

It's a small metal shop in rural ohio. It's not a hotbed of crime and the things they set outside aren't getting stolen. Most comparable factories have the same setup.

That's kind of what I am starting to think.  Maybe the height people are concerned about is merely above ground, and the first drop goes 10-20 feet below ground (or more) and we end up with a 300+ foot drop.

There's not a tunnel. We have blueprints. Theres no tunnel. We have pictures of the site. They aren't digging a tunnel and they have footers matching the blueprints where a tunnel would have to go. Even if they were going to do some mythical fake blueprints, they would have had to already dug the tunnel and poured it to have time to get everything done in the right order. We have a 300+ foot drop already, so be happy with that.

  18. Seems like they are leaning to a Meteor/Armageddon theme. I think Polaris and Orion are out at this point.

there is no way Ki's Giga is going to be slightly over 300ft, they are making this such a big deal, going through the trouble of these bad a$$ teasers and what not. This thing is going to be a record breaker and way better than FH ever was ( as much as i actually liked that ride) but this will be way better!

MT wasn't a record breaker, but they teased it and made a big deal about it. It's going to be the biggest ride at the park, do you expect them to just randomly announce it in a tweet because it doesn't break world records?

Dude... You really sent him pics from a competing tv station's news report on the coaster? I know we are supposed to be respectful of other members on here, but you really need to get a hold of reality.

The definition of the categories is height, not drop. soo yeah that's how all coasters have been measured

Where does one find this non-existent roller coaster category book of definitions? And also, could you reference me the governing body that will sue Kings Island when they call their 296 ft tall coaster with a 301 ft drop a giga?
