  1. I was riding Flight Deck earlier this Summer when I hear the ride op say, "Enjoy your ride on the world's tallest gyro drop." I don't know if he was making an attempt at humor or just got his shifts mixed up. Probably the latter.
  2. This from the park that had to shut down its other B&M coaster for several weeks last year to replace footings that were only three years old....... It was not "several weeks". It was a mere week if my memory is correct. I'll take a week or two of maintenance any day over a ride being closed for months. cough*** Intimidator 305***cough. What does Intimidator 305 have to do with a B&M topic? You do know that it isn't a B&M, right? Yes, I am well aware that it isn't a B&M. I was comparing a B&M's downtime to other manufacturers, in this case Intamnin. That comparison was made to show that the downtime you mentioned isn't all that bad compared to the rest of the coaster world. B&M is currently the most reliable manufacturer of present day. That's all I was saying. Edit: I also couldn't agree more with IndyGuy4KI. How do you know for a fact that a footer issue has to do with the ride's manufacturer? There was most likely another party responsible for those issues.

  4. This honestly feels like Christmas morning! I can not wait to open our present. Come on Kings Island, BLOW US AWAY!
  5. Please, for the love of God, shut up. You sound like Veruca Salt from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I would put you on my ignore list but with quotes and responses that never works. I want it NOW!!!
  6. I really don't care if its the longest, fastest, tallest, etc. As long as they make it a great ride worth all of this hype, I will be happy.
  7. Or... It could be a funeral for the deceased Bat. The Bat then rises from the grave during the event. Just speculating. It could really be anything at this point.
  8. I know this is a webcam, but I cannot help but think that SOB former station looks like it belongs to Flight Deck? It just looks that way even though it's not. Anybody else feel like this at all? Yes, lol, every time I look at the webcam I have to tell myself that that is the old Son of Beast station, not Flight Deck's. It's so deceiving because it appears that Flight Deck's track actually goes in the station.
  9. It seems the closer we get to 10 P.M., the farther away it feels. Luckily, I have Breaking Bad to keep me company. Come on 10 P.M.! My prediction: B&M Invert 198-205 ft tall 185 ft drop 70-72 mph Around 3,800 ft 7 inversions
  10. Well, that's unfortunate... Amen to that!
  11. IF these blue prints are the real deal, I don't see how this can be anything but an invert.
  12. Yes, very classy. I don't remember any fatalities on any Intamin coasters do you? Their coasters aren't made by people like the Dinn Corporation who lots of wood riders used to think had a flawless safety record until that awful Texas Giant incident. You've got to be kidding me, right? Please name me one fatality on an Intamin coaster please? #crickets You asked for it. This list includes six deaths. Among other incidents. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intamin#Safety_incidents Yeah wikipedia is a great source since it can be edited. How about you get some real articles but i'm guessing that post won't come will it? Here's your article. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/roller_coaster_fall_kills_hero_xkUkFxNorAz1ht4KEIThOP

You've got to be kidding me, right? Please name me one fatality on an Intamin coaster please? #crickets I'll accept that challenge. 2011: Man dies on Superman: Ride of Steel at Six Flags Darien Lake 2004: Man dies on Superman: Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England Not to mention numerous other tragic accidents like the recent Shoot the Rapids incident at Cedar Point that could have very well lead to fatalities.

  15. Yay, another human billboard advertising for Intamin! We just can't seem to get enough of those.
