Yep, those parks have the staffing to pull it off. Kings Island however doesn’t. Heck Kings Island is already short staffed for 2024!

Agree but at the same time, CF doesn’t do much to reward those who do spend money.

It could be worse, you could’ve spent $18 then be charged an additional $1.29 for house sauce, or pay $5.29 for Swiss Miss infused hot tap water. Oh want to add whip cream? That’s an additional $1.29. Those up charges I just told you are free at the other parks in the CF chain.

That area is gonna look great! I have heard they are retiring their 24’ Crown steam locomotive and replacing it with an electric locomotive. That is disappointing.

I’ve been on Rail Runner at Anakeesta, and Mountain Flyer at Ober Mountain. Between the two, I prefer Rail Runner. There is nothing like making it to the bottom of the hill on Rail Runner and questioning yourself on how you survived. Ober Mountain however does have the Alpine Slide which is very fun, as well as the iconic cable car that takes you there. These and all the other attractions are included with the wristband. Unlike Anakeesta which up charges the coasters, and such.

If there is one thing I can say about CF’s merchandise is that for the price you are getting it is quality. This year I discovered the Homage brand from two purchases I made while visiting a CF park. I liked the fit and finish of them so much so, that I paid a visit to Homage’s online store and recently added some of their Bengals swag to my collection as well. The shirts are made in USA, and the company (Homage) is based out of Columbus, Ohio.

Well that debunks my conspiracy theory.

CF would rather you go to CP with hopes you would book a hotel room through them.

I was there with family that day and couldn’t agree with you more. It’s been a tough season, but at least the park is going to finish on a good note.

This is adorable as it is predictable, but really it’s just predictable. I think it’s time to let it go, Ryan.

I’m still optimistic for Kings Island. Although we got to experience some woes this season and likely, will next season. Alot of it stems from CF not being financially healthy. Kings Island is now having to pickup some of the slack for the rest of the chain. CP mind you, is in the same boat. Attendance is up and at the end of the day Kings Island is still a very much beloved and desirable park. If CF / SIX went under tomorrow, there would be multiple chains chomping at the bits to get a shot at owning KI. So yes, although things may appear bad now, the future is still looking bright for Kings Island!
