  1. It's in the .css of their site, kind of: https://www.visitkingsisland.com/css/screen.css This line was commented out: /*.m2014-microsite #marketing .container .leftborder.internal, .m2014-microsite #marketing .container .leftborder{ background: url('/images/purple/border-panel-left.png') top left no-repeat; } .m2014-microsite #marketing .container .rightborder.internal, .m2014-microsite #marketing .container .rightborder{ background: url('/images/purple/border-panel-right.png') top left no-repeat; }*/ This was the fake one: .m2014-microsite #marketing .container .bottomborder{ background: url('/images/structure/border-panel-bottom-2014.png') top left no-repeat; } I assumed there had to be a border-panel-bottom.png in the /purple/ directory. And sure enough, there was.
  2. https://www.visitkingsisland.com/images/purple/border-panel-bottom.png Mystery solved?
  3. Upon further inspection, these plans are from the public records office. They have the project number (13-0121) written in sharpie on the side. You can see that same project number here: http://www.co.warren.oh.us/auditor/property_search/memos.asp?account_nbr=1202233&offset=-1 The documents also have a signed and sealed engineering stamp, you can't fake that.
  4. The plans are definitely legitimate. They are foundation/structural drawings drawn up by Scheafer Inc. (http://schaefer-inc.com/project/cedar-fairs-kings-island-carowinds-cincinnati-ohio/) Judging by the "office copy" post-it note, he either pulled the documents at the local public records office, works at/knows someone who works at Scheafer, or works at/knows someone who works at R.E. Middleton.
  5. Wouldn't that just end up looking like this?
