  1. Peering down from that same vantage you can admire the amount of landscaping that the park dedicated to the Coney Island / Old Coney / Coney Mall area. In fact, that was one of the most impressive aspects of the park as a whole—all the trees and bushes were well-kept, and there was shade in abundance almost everywhere. The effect was rather charming

Kings Island landscaping was at one time was quite reknown for it's highly landscaped beauty. The scroll shrubs around the main fountain was so much more impressive than the gravel and squirt guns they have as a fountain now. (Just my opinion)

I was able to get in the year the pandemic shut it down, and now just want to attend. Hopefully it wil be on a day that I can be on my personal time from work when the tickets become available! Please please please

  3. I am thinking Orion could be known as "The Iron" due to the comparisons to a flat ride. I am 'pressed' to ride it soon as soon as the 'wrinkles' are worked out prior to opening day. I hope to be 'Permanent(ly) (im)pessed' by the ride and the 'ironing board' looking legs holding up the track.  ...keep it going...

  4. Various versions of the Banshee have been described, from a woman with long, red hair and very pale skin to an older woman with stringy, gray hair, rotten teeth and fiery red eyes. She is often depicted with a comb in her hair and this has led to an Irish superstition that finding a comb on the ground is considered bad luck.

Another factor that likely contributed to the superstitious legend is the cry of the barn owl. In ancient battles, owls would screech and take flight if they noticed an army approaching, which would forewarn the defending army.
