  1. I loved King Cobra, it was one of my favorites as a teen.
  2. Vortex - Has always been my favorite ride in the park.
  3. Ill ride anything but don't like kiddie rides. Well, besides Boo Blasters. I'm competitive though! I will ride WindSeeker and Firehawk but both make me a little nervous during the ride. Although, I love the loop on Firehawk. That's the only part of the ride I actually like at all.
  4. I feel completely safe on DB but disagree that the lap restraint isn't needed. I catch some air on each hill and would easily fly out of my seat without it.
  5. Not taking sides, but as another newbie here, I don't think I can edit from my phone. :/ ETA!!! Never mind. Yes, I can!
  6. I'm here and it's pretty exciting! Very much like Halloween Haunt atmosphere. Loving the Banshee screams too.
  7. Would be one heck of a trick to retheme Flight Commander as The Bat...I'm sure you mean Flight Deck. Yep lol!!! I don't know why I constantly mix it up with Flight Commander considering I only rode it a handful of time before it was removed.
  8. I have been trying to get my husband to go to the park after he gets off of work for the announcement. And he told me that this morning on 700 WLW someone from KI said that the new ride was going to be a wing ride called Banshee and that Flight Commander was in fact being rethemed to The Bat. Now, I know this is old news here. But I wonder if it was someone here calling in or actually someone from Kings Island that was interviewed. I don't exactly believe my husband lol. Why would they have confirmed that hours before that actual announcement?
  9. I live in Mason and it is thunder storming right now. Honestly, I was hoping for a 300+ ride but will be happy as long as its really cool. This is my first post on KIC, although I have been reading awhile. Im a roller coaster lover, can't read blue prints, but did work at KI through my teen years back in the late 90's. And I drag my family to KI a few times a week still.
