    Note: The following changes would only occur if Kings Island had a budget of about $100,000,000:

    2015- expand Action Zone behind Banshee, and place Falcon, tallest wing coaster in the world at 220 ft.

    2016- make X-Base its own area... and add an interactive dark ride (like Wonder Mountain's Guardian) in the old Crypt building

    2017- add a "wild eagles" ride in the Action Zone expansion as well as a few more flat rides

    2018-???

    Banshee? pssshh.....whats next?

    World longest invert, blah blah blah... old news. Since its never too early to speculate, I'm wondering what new ride at KI or CP will be. Ohio is lacking a floorless and a dive coaster. KI doesn't even have a intamin coaster. So what do you think will be coming to the buckeye state next

    I'm liking your idea of a floorless coaster... but not the dive coaster. Cedar Fair has no dive coasters at any of their parks because they are expensive and they will stay true to the Busch Gardens parks and other parks not in the U.S.

    Flight Deck had a 4 hour wait?

    yes it did... I was just as surprised as you are.
    Were there four hours worth of people in the line or were you waiting in line for four hours?

    Big difference.

    Like I said before... it might have been temporarily shut down

    I watched that news report again about the new roller coaster and discovered something most people probably looked over. They said" It may leave passengers supended below the track and will be the 4th of it's kind in the country. 4th of it's kind? That means a wing coaster, but below the track is an invert. I'm wondering will it be a wing coaster like Gatekeeper ever though Cedar Fair said no new are planned wing coasters?

    Me and my friends went on a Kings Island Trip on 5-18-13. We got there right as it opened and went immediately to Adventure Express (my all time favorite mine train coaster). After riding AE, Racer, and Vortex... we decided to ride the best wooden roller coaster in the world, The Beast!!! Even after riding it 6 or so times before... my heart still races when going down the massive first drop into that tunnel. Sadly, after we rode The Beast, it started to pour down rain and eventually turned into a full blown thunderstorm! It took at least an hour and a half for the rain to stop and for the rides to open again. But we waited too long and didn't get to ride Diamondback, which I surprisingly have never ridden (but am hoping to by the end of August), as well as Flight Deck because of it's 4 hour wait!? Despite all of the "bad luck" we had that day... it was still an epic day at Kings Island.

    New ride idea.

    -Sometime in the future (hopefully not too soon), Vortex will be taken down. I have ridden Vortex many times, and let me say it's a great ride... but an old one none the less. Hopefully, years from now when Vortex is gone... a new ride... a better ride.... will open and carry out Vortex's legacy. Maybe the ride will be another custom looper like Vortex... and maybe it will have a name like "Vortex 2.0" or something. Just hope that day isn't too soon to come.
