  1. My wife said the line snakes its way all the way over near Diamondback (see what I just did?). I feel REALLY fortunate I got my rides in yesterday.
  2. What can I say? She is my new, favorite ride. Wish I could have captured a picture of the sun coming up as we entered the valley toward the Batwing. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk
  3. Understanding the reasons they do not, I would just be thrilled if the Red and Blue trains of The Racer actually "raced" all the time.
  4. I volunteer to occupy that empty seat.
  5. If I saw A Flock of Seagulls, I would run so far away... And I bet you couldn't get away.
  6. My bet is a new live show that will culminate in a daily human sacrifice. The lucky victims will be selected from internet forums/message boards; specifically those individuals who consistently fail to capitalize proper nouns or who cannot distinguish between the proper usage of the words "your" or "you're".
  7. I just hope it is not a crop circle. That would be a bad sign. * Signs is a 2002 film and was made by Touchstone Pictures, Blinding Edge Pictures, and the Kennedy/Marshall Company. It was commercially distributed by Buena Vista Pictures
  8. Hopefully it is bench seating so my wife has a place to "sit-out" the Banshee while my daughters and I ride it. She cannot stomach inverted, looping, roller coasters. If not, she will be happily be off riding The Beast or Diamondback.
  9. My father is a Morehead State alum. Go Eagles.
  10. These were a little beat up, but they scanned. This was either the opening year, but no later than the 1973 season. The first picture is my sister, Lambsy and me. There is even a classic tram in the background. The second photo shows that even back in the 70's, I took my driving VERY seriously.
  11. His name was Bristle Hound and he constantly tried to save Lambsy from Mildew the Wolf, in It's the Wolf. This was a segment of the Chattanooga Cats show. I am not trying to be a know-it-all because I had to look this one up. I did not remember the cartoon because I was only 2 or 3 when it aired. Bristle Hound and Lambsy were prominently mentioned in the Enchanted Voyage theme song (I did know that one). I actually researched it because this weekend I found a picture of my sister and me with the character, Lambsy, at Kings Island. It was in a photo album my mom gave to me. I will have to scan it and post at some point because it was either taken in '72 or '73.
  12. Speaking as an 11 year old me in 1979, you would have heard no such complaints. Kings Island was in need of a new coaster. And what they gave us, at the time, was a coaster on steroids. I still remember being a little apprehensive getting onto the ride. When I went up the first hill, I remember thinking, "What did I get myself into here?". By the time the ride was over, I wanted to go stand in line for another two hours and do it again.
  13. I wonder if they have track or support pieces left over just like I have excess nuts and bolts when assembling a Sauder televison stand.
  14. <In unison> Are Chik-Fil-A's closed on Sundays? <end chant>
  15. Looks like another piece of track is about to be installed. At least it seems to be staged right near the support.
