  1. Yes! Evil Santas and Evil Reindeers for Winterfest! Jk.
  2. Wood that have been nice to witness.
  3. Mystic has a 50 minute wait.
  4. Here's one that irked the engineer in me: "Why did they build the coaster out of wood? Nothing is ever built of wood."
  5. It acts like a coaster, and when powered coasts like a roller coaster. It sometimes valleys like a coaster, so why isn't it called a coaster?
  6. As Trump would say: FAKE NEWS!!! Ive just seen Firehawk running with riders.
  7. Talk about flying phones, I was on the ride with a friend and saw a phone fly out of someone's hand on Diamondback. Fortunately, it was on the second hill, so it flew away from the riders.
  8. I always thought a ride on Snoopy's Robot would be an interesting dark ride idea.
  9. And................................ King's Island released their Fast Lane deals today. HOWEVER, no season long Fast Lane pass included. I would have used it on MT and WG if it was available.
  10. No, the track height in the station is 763. The 775-763 difference still applies.
  11. Itn regards to the Shed and the train, the train I believe around 14 feet of clearance. Remember, the train tracks are 2 feet below the surrounding terrain, so even with the 12 feet of the train tracks accounted for, that doesn't explain the drop off from 22 to 12 feet. Second with the guessing of the shed, do you really expect the park to say whether we made a correct guess? Honestly, the park won't confirm or deny anything regarding the shed, besides the fact there will be a shed on Mystic Timbers.
  12. Not entirely. The photo shows that the structure is way clear of the structure for MT.
  13. The construction photos remind me of all those engineering classes at college. I wonder if the station will be themed like Banshee's.
  14. Looking at the topographic maps for the region, Mystic Timbers brake run sits about 22-24 feet above ground level. The map I linked, Mystic Timbers' shed is at the 750 mark. From the leaked BP, the station is at 763. However GCI's brake runs are always flat with around a one foot vertical difference between brakes and station. However, taking that into account, 750+24-763-1 = 10 feet. There is a vertical difference between the shed and station of about 10 feet, which is interesting given the mystery of the shed. I have to admit MT has a lot of terrain to work with. https://www.mytopo.com/maps/
  15. Some leaks aren't bad. There even may be leaks in the forest.
  16. On the QCD blog, there's a very telling picture. The section of track at the end is the brake run to enter the shed. Now, if you assume the bents are 6 feet long, it's 24 feet high. Now the station is set up to be 12 feet tall. That's a 12 foot difference and the gradient would be too much for the GCI drive wheels. I'm saying drop track.
  17. True, but the lines run past the station entirely. It could use some of the line, but if the only use of the line is to supply a hose, best bet would to get a water tank.
  18. I find it interesting that Mystic Timbers may have a water feature as well since, in the images tweeted out by KI, there are markers for water lines (indicated by blue flag) that run parallel along the length of the station. Thoughts?
  19. Well we all know that the vines will come out of the walls and ceiling from the number of hydraulic lines. Plus it's hinted in the introduction.
