I just got of Racer. I can confirm these survey markers. Also noticed utility markings all the way down to Monster behind the buildings. My guess, something you do with Racer.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkAll joking aside, I think this could be an interesting development, because a lot of the markers focus around KillMart, with additional markers approaching the main utility lines.

^ What type of roller coaster are you digging at in this picture? That track reminds me of Valravn.

Now show this with the clearance envelope.
It passes easily.

Maybe you are right. I definitely want to see it in the daylight tomorrow to tell if it’s actually new track or not.
It’s not paint, maintenance was reinforcing those sections two weeks ago.

Disagree. Just rode twice and there was only one section of about 15 feet that was new- the dip in the helix.
I did not feel it. It could be due to variances in the parts.

Good to hear! I feel like night rides will be even better now with smoother track!
Just got off a night ride, it was much faster than before.

There’s new LED’s light based fire effects, and more. The ride was flying through the course tonight!

So only about 10ft of track was replaced?
I would say more. There were 10 foot sections of track being replaced.

Did they remove the awful dip in the helix? That dip is the perfect example of how amateur Arrow’s track work can be.
There wasn’t any rough transitions.

Seriously? That is pretty cool! I could see this being the start of a complete renovation for 2021. I could see the rest of the track being painted red or the new track being painted brown to match the old track. If you have any pictures, that would be great!
I’ll try to get some. It’s in the helix away from the midway, but it’s noticeable when you ride it. The effects were pretty neat.

I saw this on Coaster Nation’s Facebook, and I genuinely want to know what this is about because the post doesn’t really explain anything. It says Adventure Express was re-tracked and new special effects were added but I find this highly unlikely to have occurred within the last week. If anyone has ridden it today, has anything changed?
Yes, the helix and the lower valley had new track placed (its red compared to the normal brown), and there’s new lighting effects on the final lift.

They need something like Tantrum at Darien Lake. I feel like the park would do better if they got a modern coaster.
They almost got one. They were going to receive a $7 million dollar D.H. Morgan hypercoaster. It would have been 210 feet tall and ran alongside Shivering Timbers. I believe it fell through when plans for the resort Hotel/Campground fell through.

It’s also ironic to note, that in order to make the ride work, one would need to have banked turns that lead into the inversions.

^Are we really doing this again?
Show your work.
I think you're just messing with us every time you come up with some witty information and fail to provide sources just to have us ask you time after time to do so. A No Limits design doesn't count.
Theres the alteration.

If you mean that Arrow was trying to initially design suspended coasters with inversions, you'd be correct.
Whether or not they'd be put in Bat on initial designs seems a bit out of the loop when KI probably didn't know what they had when trying to get the first suspended coaster.
There are blueprints for the original Bat showing a corkscrew, with the helixes in a different color, suggesting an alternate layout should the buyer want it.
-
It’s interesting that the original Bat (the one opened in 1981) was designed to have corkscrews. The original ride was to feature two corkscrews-the first being before the second lift hill, and the second one being before the final turn. Some of the original design can be seen as an Easter Egg in the Orion queue. I used NoLimits 2 and recreated it.
Here is The Bat as originally designed: https://youtu.be/GvH-SCRIGcE

Utah is now extremely low on ICU beds.
Meanwhile at Lagoon, these were the lines:

Compare those lines with the ones from KI
Its sad other parks are not taking COVID as seriously as CF is.

Where is the indoor dining in Coney Mall?
Coney BarBQue is considered one. They have walls they can slide into place, as seen during Winterfest.

What if they are going to what I have been ridiculed for some time about: An indoor eatery similar to Brewhouse with patio dining views of The Racer? Climate controlled spaces are rare on that side of the park and with continued Winterfest success are needed.
That is a good point. However the only section that is lacking with any sort of indoor dining is Planet Snoopy.

It may be of some consequence that the original Markers that started this whole thread got removed.
