  1. I don't see us getting a giga now until KIs 50th anniversary in 2022. I think that's out next Coaster and I think it's going to reclaim the longest rollercoaster in the world record. So to me not getting a giga now could be a good thing. Spending a little less on a coaster now may give them more funds to go over the top on the next one.
  2. I'm really hoping for an RMC but looking at these blue prints I just don't think so. The layout is too straight.
  3. Something like this, through narrow paths in the woods would be a lot of fun. My only problem with this is the length of the ride. Hopefully were getting something a bit longer than this.
  4. I'm going to go with RMC just cause i hope that's what it is but I'm happy with this regardless. It's still a coaster and I'm just excited to watch thing be built and ride it next year.
  5. Seems like they try to break some kinda record with every Coaster built. I'm not saying it's going to but if they are trying to break some kinda record with this ride what do you think it would be? I know there is no scale but I definitely can't see it being any kind of height records and we can almost for sure rule out a length record as I dont think they care to break a record they already hold.
  6. Ok so there was a point in time when Cedar Fair had never worked with B&M before. Just because they have not worked with RMC before does not mean this can't be one.
  7. Either im blind or I don't get it I see anything to suggest an RMC in that photo
  8. Could do that too. That's a little less down south. Hour and a half instead of 4 hours.
  9. Team RMC. I have yet to ride an RMC so if KI or CP don't get one soon,i guess will be taking a trip down south to ride the lightning (Lightning Rod)
  10. Yes all I'm saying is just because RMC doesn't have a project listed in Ohio or Kings Island doesn't mean there isn't one.
  11. I'm sure the park could ask they not put it on their list of projects until the announcement is officially made.
  12. Ok so I'm thinking X-works is just a way to hide who the actual customer is so us enthusiasts can't tell.
  13. I seen on another forum someone said X-works means is for somewhere international. Any truth to that?
  14. Gatekeeper is dull, Wild Eagle is not a bad ride but Thunderbird is awesome. Those are the only 3 I've been on.
  15. Kinda surprised we didn't see any major progress this week. I was hoping after memorial day things would really start picking up.
  16. That's true if this is a coaster it's already over a month behind Banshee's progress.
  17. If the date this video was posted is in direct correlation with when the prints became available then we will have to wait a couple more months before project 2017 blue prints become available to the public.
  18. We'd be missing something comparable to Maverick, Gatekeeper and Valravn. I don't even count TTD since it's not open half the time. Honestly have yet to ride Valravn, but to me Gatekeeper is one dull ride I could do without completely. It's more like a nice calm ride i can take my children on once their tall enough to start riding.
  19. Banshee, Adventure Express, The Beast, and Racer are in my opinion far better rides than Raptor, Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Meanstreak, and Blue Streak. Vortex is far better than Corkscrew. Magnum and Diamondback is a push to me. If KI gets a giga the only thing KI would be missing is something comparable to Maverick.
  20. 1st welcome to KIC 2nd currently I would agree that KIs coaster lineup doesn't compare to CP but if we get a giga from B&M in 17 I would say this would change if not make KIs coaster lineup better IMO.
  21. I'm not sure. I would love to know if anyone does. Seems your posts were passed over with people attacking Beast Gal. Please quit being hostile to other people. If you don't have something good to day. Don't say anything. This is a decoding thread. Be nice to people so more people stay on here and feel welcome.Where I work B/C stands for bolt circle. So I would translate this to "3'off bolt circle" That doesnt necessarily mean that it means the same thing here.
  22. I work for a company that produces large diameter ball and roller bearings. I have made bearings for Universal Theme parks and SIX on occasion. I knew they went on basically any flat that spins but those are smaller bearings maybe a couple feet in diameter. Wasn't aware there were bearings on coasters supports.
  23. One more: Look at older B&M supports, say on Nitro. Look at the huge ball bearings...watch the evolution since. Terp Where are there large ball bearings on a coaster?
  24. I'm still going to go with a woodie for 2017 either from RMC or GCI ( GCI more likely) and then a giga for KIs 50th anniversary.
