  1. I apologize if you feel like I'm pointing you out specifically I by no means am saying you or your particular experience that day or any other day are wrong. It's just my opinion.
  2. I'm not pointing you out specifically in just saying some people do exaggerate their down time also TTD is also down a lot for weather which really doesn't count. I have ridden Millenium in a lite drizzle a it's not a pleasent experience. I couldn't imagine Dragster in the rain. Last time I was at Cedar Point Millenium Maverick and Top Thrill were down for an hour combined meanwhile Gatekeeper and Raptor were down about half the day. That doesn't mean it couldn't be the exact opposite the next time I'm just saying. Every coaster had down time. I'm not trying to offend anyone. I'm a rollercoaster fan in general.
  3. Don't get me wrong I enjoy rides from both B&M and Intamin I just prefer one over the other. I enjoy Diamondback and Gatekeeper just not in the same way. Intamins mechanical problems and down time is greatly exaggerated on here but I'm sure B&M fans probably feel like their forclessness is exaggerated. It's all personal preference.
  4. The only reason those of us in Intamin world would be standing in line is they would probably be the more popular rides. But I guess I would go to B&M land when I bring my children with me. Might be just me but I rather wait 2 hours for Millenium or Maverick than wait 20 min for Diamondback or Gatekeeper.
  5. I highly Agree.Never been to a Six Flags park so I can't say but I don't see why so many people bash Intamin. They make some of the best coasters IMO.
  6. Please list every park with a Texas Giant that isn't Six Flags Over Texas. Drop Tower, Fight Deck, WindSeeker, Vortex, Eiffel Tower, The Crypt... Your turn... Besides WindSeeker, not any of those other rides were built during Cedar Fair ownership.
  7. Ok the only one I'm going completely off of video is Leviathan and I said my opinion was based off a pov. All I'm saying is Leviathan pov doesn't seem like it would be as forceful a Millenium and I305 are.
  8. So are you saying B&M got it wrong with Leviathan? I have only ridden Mille so I have not been able to compare the two. I also have not been on Leviathan so all I can do is compare its pov with Millenium and I305 and both the Intamins seem much more forceful. I wouldn't say that if B&M were to build KI a giga that it wouldn't be a good ride, but as it stands I would prefer they use Intamin.
  9. Yeah well I'm not saying that B&M built Leviathan as a "favor" is a fact. I'm saying that's what I have heard that's what I have read. Now if that's true and it's also true that KI won't use Intamin, which manufacturer would they use?
  10. Who would you see them using if they were to add a giga. D H Morgan defunct, B&M supposedly only built Leviathan as "favor" and then there is Intamin. I would personally be somewhat disappointed if they didn't use Intamin although with Steel Dragon and Leviathan I'm going off video and pics alone. But do you think another manufacturer would jump into the gigas?
  11. I would prefer a blitz then a giga. I just don't know if you can beat the Maverick.
  12. I would love for KI to get a strata coaster. Although for as short as the ride is, TTD cost more to build 10 years ago than Banshee is going to cost KI to build.
  13. I would bring back the reverse Racer. I would bring back Tomb Raider ( the way it was when owned by Paramount ) and I know all of people didn't like the SOB but I love it so I would also bring back Son of Beast but built as a prefab.
  14. I would fall into this catogory as my parents met at KI
  15. Couple weeks ago I was at Cedar Point when we got off magnum a couple kids were trying to take a picture if their on ride photo with their phones. They didn't block the picture but the guy at the photo stall went absolutely ballistic.
  16. Hopefully they have lower prices by then or at least a goldpass discount. We were looking at the Banshee shirts today over where its being built. Something like 16 to 18 for shirts, I personally like the 16 dollar ones better, the hoodies are around 35 dollars ( I like the grey with black print). We decided to wait to buy them but I know my wife would have bought at least 5 for Christmas presents if we had goldpass discounts there, I am going to buy that hoodie for Haunt! My wife and kids ate Banshee twists while I rode Delirium, I'm on a health kick right now so it was a good ride to avoid temptation. It did look pretty though! Yeah I don't know why this post showed up so much later than when I wrote it. People were actually talking about the Banshee shirts when I wrote it. Also not sure why I can't change my pic to a picture of Mavericks first hill. Keeps saying file is to large. Maybe because I'm on my Mobil

  18. I like buying shirts for the rides that I really like (Maverick Millenium Dragster Diamondback FoF Beast) so there for I can not buy a shirt for Banshee til I actually ride it.
  19. I won't ride anything that spins. ( exception : scrambler ?? I don't know why.) I can't even handle max air or delerium anymore. But usually I strictly stick to all the coasters.
  20. The last time I was at Kings Island for their Halloween it was still called "fear fest" and as i recall most of the haunted houses were geared more toward older children early teens. Since Cedar Fair took over are they anymore geared towards adults than before or about te same?
  21. 2014: continue with Banshee and re theme AZ to a Halloween/spooky theme re name flight deck and paint it black and orange. 2016: take down Vortex and replace it with an intamin blitz coaster like Maverick. 2018: build an Intamin prefab woodie behind Banshee with a 200ft drop. 2020: build an Intamin giga coaster 340ft drop (not sure where it would be located) 2022: remove Firehawk and build the tallest fastest B&M wing rider with the worlds tallest vertical loop somewhere in x base. Of coarse there would be some smaller flat and kiddie rides in between all these coasters somewhere I'm just like to focuse on the roller coasters.
  22. I'm all for re themeing Action Zone to a Halloween type theme and renaming flight deck to The Bat. Although I'm not sure if it will ever matter what they rename " flight deck" to, I will probably always call it Top Gun.
  23. I have been following the decoding thread for quite some time now this is my first time posting. I will admit I am not a huge fan of inverts. And while I am somewhat disappointed we are not getting a giga or a blitz coaster, I am still very much excited of this ride. Can't wait to see this thing start going vertical.
