  1. Yea I really tink Italian job Stunt Track would have fit pretty well into Action Zone when it opened since that part of the park was supposed to me a movie studio theme. But it feels cheap where it is like they cut corners even though that i the theme. That siad it is a fun little coaster and I love to ride it regardless. Would love to see them give theHollywood Studios the same treatment Universal has been giving it's parks and give it some more theming. Also good news for you BB1 as Disney management confirmed to the cast and crew at Indy that they will not be closing and teh rumors are not true. Still woulnd't mind seeing an update to the show though still and swap out a couple scenes.
  2. Yea though the show could use an upgrade. Would love to see them add the dark ride from Disneyland or Tokyo as well along with an updated stunt show to another spot in the park.
  3. Would be possible to do adn pretty cool, but likely to be mroe of a hybrid coaster like Rocky Mountain Coasters does.
  4. There is also rumor that the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular might be getting removed around the same time as well. This si still strctly rumor at this point though and only the American Idol Experience has been confirmed as being removed in January. http://disneyatwork.com/2014/06/american-idol-indiana-jones-epic-stunt-spectacular-closing/ Seeing as these are adjacent locations and both next to the current Star Tours attractions this could potentially see the start of the previously discussed and ruored Star Wars land in Hollywood Studios.
  5. Haha yea, would love to go to it but I an only imagine how crowded it will be.
  6. I do the same sometimes with Firehawk. Love it but it is such slow loading and dispatching the lines take awhile even when short. So I try to get a couple rides in before everyone gets there.
  7. I would love to see a new dark ride put in, either a new one in Action Zone near Banshee with a gothic theme or in Rivertown where Crypt was with a mine theme. Something like Wonder Mountains Guardian would work or an omnimover style traditional dark ride. If it was another shooter I'd like to see Boo Blasters changed to something new without lasers and be a traditional dark ride again. Next would be a high speed terrain hugger. Maybe a combination between an Intamin blitz coaster and a giga. That has a few large hills but spends a lot of time low to the ground speeding through the woods and hills. Last I would also like to see an overhaul/revamp of Oktoberfest. I would move Slingshot into Action Zone to free up that spot for a new flat ride. Also take out the ladder game and Coke zone to make room for a second flat. Think Der Spinning Keggers would be a great ride to bring back. We don't have a tea cup or tilt-a-whirl type attraction right now so could fill that. I would also change the Festhaus into a German buffet and put in nicer tables and chair and just clean it up in general to make it look nicer. I would also move Hank's to somewhere else in the park and make that a new sit down restaurant with some indoor seating as well as the patio. Keep the bar on the back with a small section kept to it for walk up drinks. Have them serve a mixture of European cuisine at it. Between the Festhaus and the Guessing game on the corner near Delirium I would built a new shop near there as well, the space just seems a bit barren right now. Maybe even some dummy store fronts that could hold some storage but make it look more like a German village along that walkway. Lastly on the path between Oktoberfest and Action Zone to break them up more I would add in one of the plant arch walkways like used to be over in Hanna Barbera Land
  8. That would actually be a pretty cool type of ride to put in there. The Stitch replacement is fun but it's got nothing on the original version. Also can't tell if the article is saying that Tomb Raider/Crypt was a failure due to pulling the theme and wearing the ride out or was a failure in general. Seems to be praising the ride as Tomb Raider then talksa bout gutting the attraction and wearing it out with the intense ride cycle.
  9. Hulk is a great coaster, but agree it is mostly for the first half. I enjoy the large inversions over the lake as well. The second half is kind of meh. Banshee is better than it in my opinion since it keeps up the excitement and intensity throughout it and never lets up.
  10. YEa they're pretty secure. Haven't really heard of stuff getting taken, and as others said most are locked now. As for taking it on rides I'm not sure how strict they are now but in the past I have sometimes taken a small bag with me and just taken it on with me and put my leg through the straps to keep it from flying out.
  11. Tombstone Terror-tory, Club Blood, and Delta Delta Die are the only ones I really think need to go. Just not scary and seem really run down, and nothing to unique about the design. Haven't done Tombstone in yeas though and heard it improved a little last year though. Some others like Urgent Scare as are could gof ine, but could also be spruced up a bit into a great maze again, so rather them just get some TLC and be made better.
  12. I haven't been on Berserker but ridden similar ones and they are never as fun as they look. Viking Fury is a lot of fun though, plus it has a great setting surrounded by trees and the pond.
  13. I agree. I like that there is so many to check out and probably helps the lines some. But I'd be fine with them cutting out 2 or 3 if it meant having a really strong line up of fewer houses with better theming and quality.
  14. YEa I wouldn't want to rely on the extension, but figured it would happen.
  15. I waited around 3 hours or so for Son of Beast when it first opened.
  16. Yea I'd pretty much be the same way. If it has some sort of id with it i'll turn it in or if I see someone looking around for it, probably check to see if its what they're looking for. Otherwise I'd probably keep it.
  17. I don't think you'd be in the minority on that. A lot of people thought it was good and looked nice when it first opened. The problem was that it wasn't maintained and became more of an eyesore. I'd have been for keeping it if it was kept up but it wasn't and they seemed to have no intention of every restoring it so I'd rather have it taken out.
  18. And if for some reason it doesn't want to read it or there's a new person that doesn't know the process, you can pay there and get a receipt and guest services will refund the parking charge. Had to do that last year.
  19. One thing I think would be fun is to change/expand the Juke Box Diner into an actual 50s style sit down diner.
  20. Seems like a strange place to me to put something. Yea there is space there but it seems like it'd be hard to get back to being boxed out a bit by The Beast queue and The Crypt building. Guess they could make a path next to The Beast queue but it does get congested there, but guess if that's where space is available.
  21. This is why the ride going up in Canada is of interest to me. One of the claims, IIRC, was the ride was customizable and if I read things right, could operate on many different programs thru the day if the operated wished for that variety. I immediatly thought of Boo Blasters and all of that "extra" space that goes to waste (well other than storage) for the regular operating season. I envision a kid friendly version of an indoor shooter/dark ride experience (or whatever CW has in store) for the regular season, then during the haunt, a kid's friendly halloween version of the ride during the day, and an adult version during the evenings when the haunt is in full effect. Would love to see them incorporate something like it if it's a success, but I think there are plenty of other places it could be put in that would be better, primarily the old Action Theatre which doesnt' seem to be getting used this year or The Crypt's old building. Could even do it in The Crypt building with a similar design to Wonder Mountain's Guardian with a lift up the outside and have multiple levels on the inside you go through. Maybe give it a mining theme to fit the area. Boo Blasters I think is fine with it's current system it just needs spruced up with some new décor/theme. Would be fine seeing it reverted into just a standard dark ride featuring the Peanuts (not a shooter) if they're going to have another shooter in the park anyway.
  22. I rode Flying Ace once back when it was Runaway Reptar and I'll say it is also very close together on the seats. Defintiely made for kids. I could kick the seat in front of me if I just raised my legs a little bit.
  23. I remember him. Yet another reason I'd agree with Terpy about the ride ops not talking. His enthusiasm is great, and fun when you're ont eh ride heading out. But listening to it for 10 minutes while waiting to get on gets old real quick.
  24. I agree. The new theming/paint on it looks great. But all those details, while minor on their own really stand out now with the fresh paint and decor elsewhere and becames very noticeable.
  25. While it might go upside down I don't think it counts as a coaster. Mine was Raptor at Cedar Point.
