  2. They do have matching track layouts, height and speed being the main differences. (Not counting the fact that they're in two different countries.) Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk
  3. Not just short people, they go after the freaked people too. It's quite hilarious. Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk
  4. Ahhh. The teasers. I can't wait until April! Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk

  7. There's a helicopter ride at KI. It's in Planet Snoopy, and called "Woodstock's Whirlybirds" Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk

You mean "Top Bat Swoop Thunder Flight" . Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk
  9. Speaking (or should I say typing?) of 'short-very short- flat ride cycles,' is there a reason for the extreme difference in ride times on WindSeeker? I cannot vouch for the 2013 season, but last summer half the times I rode it the gondola would start its decent as soon as it reached maximum height and other times you would get to go the full cycle. What was up with that? It does seem to have a shorter cycle than it did in 2011. With 64 people per ride, you'd think the hourly capacity would be high enough to get CF to allow a full cycle. This past season I had an experience where the gondola got to the top, spun twice, then began its decent. I found it quite upsetting, since WS is my favorite ride. 10. It's been awhile, but I once had a dream where my boyfriend and I went to KI on opening day, and during the off season all the rides had been changed to things I wouldn't ride. WindSeeker was kinda like a coaster, with a Drop Tower-esque ending. Even the KI&MVRR was weird. It was similar to AE, but also had 4 loops. The whole thing was weird. 11. On Shake, Rattle, & Roll, the yellow cars start first. They're also slightly faster. Next is the orange set, then the greenish ones. Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk
  12. I just realized that they could turn Action Zone into a graveyard, renaming current rides to past rides, (such as the ones mentioned in the Banshee video) and have the Banshee, who wails at the death of others. Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk
  13. I wouldn't mind seeing a re-theme of all of Action Zone. Heck, just a sub-section would be nice. Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk
  14. Mind if I ask what they trademarked? The link isn't working for me. Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk
  15. As someone else pointed out, "The Pit and Pendulum" would work for Delirium. Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk

  17. Guys, I just realized that we can watch for a new paint job to go with a re-theme, by checking the Banshee webcam. Flight Deck is in the upper lefthand corner. Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk
  18. It's funny you say that. I'm pretty sure no one died on The Bat, and if memory serves, a woman died after riding Flight Deck (Top Gun, at the time, I think) on Black Sunday. It was due to a heart attack or preexisting condition.Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk Uhh...the deaths at Kings Island on "Black Sunday" were not on Flight Deck, as Black Sunday occured in 1991. Flight Deck was, at best, still in the planning stages as it did not open until 1993. What did happen on Black Sunday, according to the old KICentral history page (which I have saved to my computer in a text file for some odd reason for offline reference )... "On June 9th, there are three deaths at the park on the day known as Black Sunday. Around 8:00 PM, a 20-year-old man entered the Oktoberfest pond, apparently to retrieve a lost hat. He was electrocuted instantly, and two people entered the pond to rescue him. Both the man who originally entered the pond and one of the rescuers died at a local hospital, and the other rescuer had serious injuries. The accident was linked to a faulty water pump, which had short-circuited, electrifying the water. An hour later, a woman boards the Flight Commander ride in Coney Mall, which allows riders to pitch the cars and flip them upside down. When her car flipped upside down, she lost consciousness and slipped out from underneath the shoulder harness, falling 50 feet onto concrete. She was later found to have been intoxicated at the time of the accident." The most noteable incident to ever occur to Flight Deck? In 2002, during a morning test run, it crashed into a truck parked too close to the ride's track and one of its trains was badly damaged. But no deaths...same with The Bat, save it never hit a truck as far as I know. It seems to me I heard somewhere that a woman had a heart attack on Flight Deck. Thank you for pointing out the Black Sunday error, I sometimes get my dates mixed up. Seems I'll have to keep digging to find where I heard that. Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk

  20. Good point, but with the new ride being right there, Flight Deck will most likely get some extra love like Vortex's paint job from Diamondback. They'll want it to look nice. Also, with Banshee drawing people to that section of the park, FD will probably see a ridership boost. Sent from my VS840 4G using Tapatalk
