  1. Sorry to get back on topic here, but it looks as if they have done a significant amount of site work, specifically around the area where the entrance of the ride will be. Theres a crane working on the bottom of the lift hill, my guess would be that it is putting the lift chain motor in place. Again, sorry to get back on topic. ;)

This was probably more on topic than the recent comments about fanny packs and drawstring bags. I think it is possible that the crane is constructing the station.

[EDIT] also, it appears that Clifford Jr. is back up again. There are several people by the second loop area, is there a tour going on?

  2. The park is getting a 500 foot, triple inversion, 90 mph wooden roller coaster in 2015 that will go under the fountain in a glass tunnel. It's station will be the old SOB station and it will interact with Banshee, Flight Deck, and Adventure Express before travelling over the midway to the fountain. It will then feature a flyover over the main entrance before heading back toward the station. It will be built by Intamin and the track and wooden supports will be green. It will be the longest wooden coaster in the world, claiming The Beast's spot so that way the park can say they have the two longest wooden coasters in the world. Construction will start for this new ride before Banshee is completed.

This is 100% true information. Everything I just told you is a complete fact, since I heard it from the Dippin' Dots guy.

    Ok, then.
The Dippin' Dots guy told me that we were going to get the worlds first rocketship ride that goes to the moon and back in a staggering 5.678654 seconds. I can never deny what he tells me, he had all the inside info.
Always trust the Dippin' Dots guy! :P

He's my reliable source for all things Cedar Fair.

The dippin' dots Dippin' Dots guy texted me that Diamondback just fell over and that their going to add another 100 feet to it when they put it back up. It will be taller than Millennium Force.

  3. The Blackfish people are clever in making this movie. They did a very good job at instigating simply because it's easy to convince people using lies if the people are dumb enough to believe them. I'm more frustrated at the people that still believe this bull crap and the people who act like they are experts simply because they watched a movie on Netflix. To me, saying that you know everything about Seaworld from watching a one-sided movie is like me saying that I know everything about CGI because I watched Transformers.

  4. For me, it's a tie.

B&M's might not be as forceful as intamins, but they are fun and reliable. Intamins might be high maintenance rides, but they are extreme and outstanding. Personally, I don't think you could go wrong when picking between those two comapnies to build your next coaster.

  5. Looks like all that's left is the approach to the final brake run. I also noticed there are no pieces left in the hold area......it will be interesting to see them fit that very last piece in.

I saw the final supports being delivered on the webcam. I think all the pieces have been delivered.

  6. If Cedar Point gets a different experience and theme, I think instead of a dragon, the creature should be a griffin. I'm really excited about Wonder Mountain's Guardian alone. I'm glad Ouimet is steering the company in a different direction. It will be great if one day a Cedar Fair fan could visit their favorite park while not having to travel all the way to Universal.

That would be really cool actually and that gives me another idea for the Action Zone retheme. What if instead of a scary theme, it could be more of a medieval theme! Just think about it. All of the rides would have Medieval themes. Sure The Bat isn't exactly medieval but other rides would have cool names. They could tear down Action Zone things and put Medieval things. Instead of the water tower there could be a well or something. All of the rides would get a new coat of paint and castles and crap. Just a thought but if this were true it would take a lot of time.

I kind of like this Medieval Fair idea. I think the crap fits well as most human waste was thrown into the streets and not properly handled during the Middle Ages. I believe someone said something about the bathrooms in the AZ being removed and now I know why. :)

  8. Hi, I'm new to KICentral. I've lurked around for a little bit but I finally got the account to work. Now I think the reason the station looks so low is because you go UNDERGROUND to get to the gift shop. Take a look at the station rendering: Banshee-Load-Station-1%281%29.jpg

The stairs seem to cut off as if going underground. I think a basement gift shop is pretty cool. I could be wrong though but I do like the idea if I'm right.
