  1. It looks like a pretty good crowd for a Friday. We wont be getting there until after 4, heres to hoping it dies down a bit for me. First date night and visit to Kings Island with no kids since that baby was born.
  2. The owner has been arrested for forcing workers to ride it after they told him no. It apparently happened on the third test run, after the second people heard noises and wanted off. Add India to the list with China for places I will not ride anything. http://rtlec.co.uk/index.php/at-least-one-dead-twenty-injured-as-giant-wheel-ride-crashes-to-ground-at-park-video/
  3. Maybe it's time to thin the herd by letting them make their own mistakes.
  4. I had no problem. It really isn't hard to figure out.
  5. I lost a lot of interest in Racer when they moved it back to both being forward facing.
  6. hmm, maybe each of those people interested could throw a couple of bucks your way to get you a ticket into the park that way you can get the people what they would like in person and enjoy a day at the park?
  7. whether it was on time or an hour late for you to get in you would have had about the same wait. OSU people didn't leave and the ride maintained a long line the entire day. Also as the line seemed to stay at the main midway all day the shorter walk to the line would have been from the front gate as well. You had a bad experience it happens, happened to me on opening day at Kings Island this year. File your complaint and move on as letting it continue to bother you will do no good. Perfect weather and a new coaster having its first big day very long lines are to be expected.
  8. That might be the best comment I have seen you make.
  9. Quality and execution? I am not 100% just the whole thing was not good. It reminded me of a bad Hot Head burrito and i rank them pretty low.
  10. I tried Outerhanks for the first time this past weekend it was not good at all. It was filling but that's about all it was was good for. I would rank it dead last of all the burrito places I have tried.

    ONE RIDE

    Maverick would be my choice.
  12. I learned yesterday just how annoying and inconvenient security checks can be while wrangling a toddler and not being prepared for security checks.
  13. When I was working the one ball milk can game by The Racer (before bank a ball) a family had bought whatever the largest amount was they could to try. before they even got a shot off the 2-3 year old had stolen one of the softballs and launched it as the parents were reaching to try and stop him. It went in, most amazing thing I have seen at games.
  14. odd because I saw on the app a large pizza, salad, and four drinks for $29.99.
  15. When I worked in games when it was still owned by Paramount I never had issues and rarely heard of issues with stolen money. The thing that happened most was accidently giving a person a ten instead of a one and stuff like that. We also didn't count money before and after restroom breaks. You would go put your money in your locker. The money would be counted at the beginning of shift and the end of shift. If i remember correctly it was a three strike system and the amount missing didn't matter whether it was $1 or $100 it was a strike if it was missing. I loved that job and never saw it as stressful. Actually the picture I posted of my son is the area I worked it, it was known as Coney one. You can see the door were our little office would be to the right of the Monster queue.
  16. I noticed some issues with the new system Sunday but most of them had been mentioned before. Since you have to go to a kiosk to get a game card a lot of people I would see just walk away instead of impulse playing. I really don't mind the new plan as I tried it out but I noticed a lot of empty games that normally have people huddled around them. My son flipped out when he saw the minion prizes on the $1 basketball game so I won him one. He was flipping out and dancing all over the place over it. the picture doesn't do his excitement justice at all.
  17. You were in there at the same time as me as i got my food at 11:22. I didn't have any issues but maybe you straightened her out by the time I came through.
  18. I think only one person here is legitimately upset, others (myself included) pointed out that there is a flaw as well but we dealt with it and are fine with whats going on while making a suggestion to help.
  19. We were there for ERT and hoped to get my son on one of the two Planet Snoopy rides, both had long lines. I instead of waiting in a line full of adults for gliders tried my best to distract my son until 10. I really enjoyed our ride on RFYLCB and so did he. It would be nice to see another coaster added to try and deter adults from going to the gliders first thing. The park doesn't have to open anything early though so I do thank them for at least giving us the opportunity.
  20. We were excited to try the Reds Hall of Fame Grille yesterday however they informed us they wouldn't be opening on time and with a toddler waiting a half hour plus is not fun so we walked to the Festhaus. I wanted Panda Express but that line was long as can be. I settled for a pretty good burger and no wait on the other side.
  21. How's it looking today?
  22. If you didn't try the cinnamon bread your trip was a failure.
  23. I always find it funny when these "hints" start showing up and people freak out over the smallest thing. I will enjoy sitting back and watching most fail miserably while few get it right in the end. It is fun for me to read through. best of luck on every ones "predictions". *grabs popcorn*
  24. I'm not looking to debate. I take care of nearly 600 cell phones for the company I work for. I am more than willing if someone wants to message me and ask for suggestions. I'm not a fanboy either way.
  25. This new restraint policy concerns me as 3 clicks on Racer seems like an impossible task for me. we will find out when I make it back because i am the same weight I was last year. Hopefully less by the time i actually ride. As far as the little part involving getting a new phone. if you're concerned about battery life stay away from androids. The phone with the best battery life at the moment is an iPhone 6+ without any battery conservation settings turned on. Most androids I deal with the battery will be fine at first and fall off fairly quickly and they really seem do drain once you get near the one year mark with the phone.
