The buffering is really bad.

Eh, I wouldn't think that they would care a whole lot about the expectations of enthusiasts. Sure, I think they enjoy messing with us, but a segment of enthusiasts will be disappointed no matter what it ends up being. I believe Don just wants to keep people thinking and talking about the park. I think keeping the park and next season expansion relevant come September is the main focus no matter if they over or under deliver on the announcement.

I don't believe they're seasonal like Kings Island so a pass is good for a year from when purchased; not just for the Spring, Summer and Fall.

It's even easier for me to swipe my credit card right at the game.

I usually would impulsively try a game as I walk by but for some reason, probably a psychological side effect brought on by the divorce of my parents, ingesting lead paint, and past school bullying; I just can't bring my self to take those extra steps to get a game card. Just ain't gonna happen.

FYI, I sent the pic to an engineer friend of mine who had this to say: "I'm pretty certain those plans are legit. Those plans likely are from the structural engineer working on the project, and I recognize the "DJP" initials in the corner. I used to co-op with him back in college, and I've seen his initials on other KI plans that have been released."

I wouldn't say it was a hit with the GP. Maybe a hit with KI fans. It was really overpriced for what you got. I remember riding the train. They themed it to (I think) the WWII era to give a touching story about being away for Christmas. There was also a music and light show at the pond where DB is now. There was an Ebeneezer Scrooge puppet show. I remember the food (while expensive) was good in the Festhaus with a turkey dinner option. It was fun, but I probably wouldn't return if it was the same. There was just not enough to do for the price (and pass holders did not get in free).

As of 6PM the park looks dead on the cams. I'm trying to talk the wife into going over there after I get off work at 7.

I hope the new roller coaster is soft and smooth. Not coarse, rough and irritating......like sand.

I haven't been out to the other Jungle Jim's yet. This gives me another reason to get out there.

It's not going to be "Hollywood Studios" for very much longer. Who knows what will ft into the new theme, but we know that Pixar and Star Wars do. Marvel probably will as well.

I bet you could put that music to a video of people celebrating winning something like the Super Bowl and it'd still be depressing. When you put it to flying over an abandoned theme park during the dead of winter...well....I may need to go see a therapist.

I'm interested in how quickly you'll be able to get your card scanned after getting off of a ride. I'm assuming you'll have to get off the ride, go to the booth, have them find you on the ride, then scan your card linking your picture to it. If there are a bunch of people all doing the same thing I wonder if it will take a while.
