  1. Currently I like when they play "Madness" by Muse. I remember loving wandering the park to Moon River back in the Paramount days though.
  2. No, hear me Mr. Park (or do you go by Captain Park? Sir Park?). Keep the fog as is. I love it.
  3. I heard it when I was at the park on Sunday. I hadn't heard the good news here, but when I was in line I thought that it sounded a bit different. I asked the ride op and she filled me in. She seemed pretty happy about it and so was I. It was great hearing the ol' girl again, though I have to admit, there were a lot of random drum beats here and there not with the music, but perhaps they're still getting some bugs out.
  4. I've seen the show once this season and it's by far the best show that I've ever seen at Kings Island. Can't wait to see it again.
  5. Seems like it happens whenever someone has just watched Speed or Die Hard 3.
  6. Awesome report. I miss watching those shows. I used to be a big fan of the Phantom Regiment and the Cavaliers.
  7. If the line is long, don't wait for their flying eagles. They are sloooooow.
  8. Yes, but we were spoiled by all of B&M's previous rides up until recently when obviously something has changed to cause a noticeable dent in their proven track record (pun intended) of silky smooth coasters. Come on, it's a brand new coaster. It should be smooth as glass in all seats. I am still a huge fan of it, and Diamondback, but it is an annoyance and takes something away from the experience.
  9. I am concerned with the rattle too. Rode in row 4 last Friday and it was pretty bad. Don't notice it in the front row. Not sure which colored train we were on.
  10. I was scared of them until Raptor opened. I figured that a brand new looping coaster would be the best place to start and it was amazing! Never looked back after that.
  11. Yea Im a hand rail grabber. I dont mean to touch other peoples hands but usually it happens. Apologies! *Raises Hand* I too have committed this heinous act. *Lowers hand back down on someone else's* Darn! Sorry!!!
  12. I'd totally buy it, but I don't want to pay for shipping.
  13. *Shaking my head* That was pretty funny though.
  14. I rode it twice last season and thought that it was fine. It had more rattle than the opening year (which is when I last rode it), but it still remained my favorite woodie.
  15. I don't know if I posted a TR for my Kennywood trip a few years ago, but I loved the park. The Whip was hands down, my favorite ride there.
  16. Was listening to WLW a little while ago as they were talking about the Reds and they were blaming Banshee for their lack of phone callers. They said that everyone was too busy riding Banshee to call in.
  17. I think they'll take requests for the front if it's not too long. We asked for the front when we got up there and the kid said that the line was too long at the time (there were probably 4 cycles in front of us). We were bummed, especially since he let the people a little bit behind us get in line for the front after we got on our train. Oh well, we'll get plenty of front seats through the year.
  18. And sadly, that free Banshee cone was about the size that they were selling yesterday for $4.59. Sheesh. They used to be at least twice that size.
  19. Yep, I do believe that you took all of the pictures that need to be taken. I won't take my camera to the park this year, lol.
  20. Around 4 hours and twenty minutes. If we count waiting in line to get into the park at 10 AM, it's more like 5 and a half. Ugh.
  21. Forgot to mention that we did get a Banshee soft serve cone. With the gold pass discount it was $4.47 (I believe) and was about half the size of last year's. Not sure if that's the size they're going with this year or if it was a training issue, but that's how large they seemed to be for everyone. At the Chicken Shack they showed combo prices of $13.99 for 3 tenders, fries and a drink or $14.99 for 4 tenders. They didn't show individual item prices so they either weren't available or they were just really pushing the combos. Noticed that at the Festhaus as well. Combo prices but no individual prices, except for some sides. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  22. Our day (me, wife and friend) consisted mainly of waiting 4+ hours for Banshee. We were starved by the time we got off but after seeing the crazy prices at the Chicken Shack and Festhaus, we decided to hit Jimmy John's where we got 2 large subs and a drink for less than one of KI's combos. Might consider that season long dining plan, or may just eat outside of the park this year. We also hit up Dodgems before leaving and that was it. Will probably be back next Friday for a night ride.
