  1. I have been to Kings Island many times before, but sadly my friend hasnt, but for the past month him and I have saved enough money to buy him an admission ticket. So I was wondering if it was cheaper to buy food in the park or to go to the store and buy food for the park. We want to do this so we wont have to leave the park. Since my friend hasnt been to an amusement park before, I wonder if I should introcduce him to some flat rides first or go extreme and go on something think Diamondback or The Banshee. I am curious what his reactions will be, so this will be good. I cant wait for this weekend!
  2. Kokomo by the Beach Boys when you ride the Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad.
  3. While we are on the subject of the Phantom Theater, when you stand in line in Boo Blasters, does anybodytry to shine a light to the so called monsters behind the walls with red eyes and see the Maestro and other Phantom Theater characters? ( MaestroMan's profile picture.) This was a really cool edition to the Phantom Theaters line along with the posters and the Maestro playing the organ while also listening to spooky music, compared to the present and you wait in line and hear nothing and see nothing, ( well besides the FunTvs.).
  4. "Chuck E Cheese, 1 token for any game or ride!"- Chuck E. Cheese
  5. Does anybody have a picture of Kings Islands park guide from 1992 and 1993?
  6. I should of appreciated the Phantom Theater when it was still operating, if I knew it was getting removed, I would have at least ridden it 50 times in a row, I dont ever remember a line so I would get in line, ride, exit, repeat. The reason why I liked Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle so much was because it was themed and fit along great with Hanna Barbera Land. When Scooby Doo got replaced by Boo Blasters, I was totally unsatisfied, because at least with Scooby Doo, it told a story unlike Boo Blasters. By looking at the pictures above, you can really tell that the theming for the Phantom Theater was more creative than Boo Blasters. As with everybody else, I would love to see a return of the Phantom Theater.
  7. I didnt know that my source wasnt 100% reliable, but I hope it is true.
  8. I would love to be a part of Kings Island history, so of course I would like to claim this title.
  9. So as we all heard before Kings Island may be getting a new flat ride for 2015, ca'nt wait for that.
  10. Epcot has great food with different variatons of countrys, I wonder what delectibles would be at the new park.
  11. I like the giant Jack in the Box that used to wind up and play a little song and stop, and that Clown would scare the living daylights out of people. Im going to Kings Island next weekend so I hope to get a picture next to the Jack In the Box, hopefully it winding up and working because the past two years, its just been sitting there doing nothing, maybe when I go, it'll be working.
  12. The first seats up front on Diamondback always gets my adrenaline pumping, the wait for the front is usually long, but it is definitley worth it.
  13. Sorry, for posting again, my internet isn't working right.
  14. www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2Vy1UINwek Me riding Boo Blasters in 2012.
  15. If anybody has ridden Boo Blasters recently, after the "scare tonic machine" you hear Boocifer say something but I always cover my ears because he's so loud. As for the dark part with the skeletons, it confuses me at what age level they are going for. The whole ride consists of it being a kids ride, examples such as ghouls hiding behind a curtain with a teddy bear, skeletons listening to MP3 players, etch. I've seen kids crying because they were scared of the skeletons with glowing red eyes at the rides exit. It puzzles me about the age they are trying to reach with Boo Blasters. In my opinion, a typical amusement park style haunted house is good enough for me.
  16. Thats a shame, I takes all the fun out considering its supposed to be a haunted house, all you can hear now is the FunTvs, they keep me occupied while I'm in line, but I would rather hear graveyard sounds and organ music once again.
  17. I would like to try a Krusty Burger, I wonder if it tastes better than the Krabby Patty at The Krusty Krab in kiddie land at Kings Island, back when it was Nickelodeon if anybody remebers it. But a Krusty Burger sounds really delicious so I am going to go with my instinct on this one.
  18. Sorry, that's what I meant to say, I really don't know how that happened, but I fixed it. Thanks for the correction.
  19. http://www.insidethemagic.net/2014/04/the-simpsons-springfield-expansion-announced-at-universal-studios-hollywood-for-2015-with-new-restaurants-shops/
  20. I know this is a old article but I haven't seen anybody post it on here, but there is going to be an expansion for The Simpsons Springfield at Universal Hollywood, with new restaurants and shops, for all of you Simpsons Fans, the link is below.
  21. If you put it that way Terp, then yes.
  22. I absolutely love Diamondback, that's the first ride I usually run to, when the park opens, my second option would be The Beast. Speaking of The Beast, I don't think Kings Island will ever remove it from the park, with its high popularity and it's record breaking performance. Also isn't it a National Landmark, which is mentioned on a plaque located at the beginning of the line? I don't think that Kings Island will ever remove The Beast, we'll in my opinion. However, I do believe that the next ride to be demolished would be Congo Falls. I don't really see a long line at Congo Falls like I see at White Water Canyon, even when it's really hot outside. I like Congo Falls, but not as much as I like White Water Canyon, so I could care less if Congo Falls was removed or not. As for my favorite area of the park, it's a toss up between Action Zone, RiverTown, and International Street. For International Street, I always hear music that makes me welcome at Kings Island and usually puts me in a good mood. I also like walking past the Candy Shop, the 80s store! and looking at the Eiffel Tower. For Action Zone, I like the unique style that it portrays, along with my favorite rides such as The Bat, Delirium, and Drop Tower. But I have to say my favorite area of Kings Island would have to be RiverTown. I like the theming of the West, and my all time favorite rides are in RiverTown, White Water Canyon, Diamondback and The Beast. I like the old time photos, the arcade and my personal favorite, The KI Miami Railroad. I like Coney Mall, and Oktoberfest too, but not as much as I like RiverTown.
  23. I like WWC because "You will get wet, You may get drenched.", which is pretty much guaranteed, also people complain that it's a long walk even if there isn't a long line in WWC, but there is a beautiful scenery to see, and exercise is good, especially for me. As long as I get to ride WWC, I don't care if I have to walk 2 miles. WWC is my favorite, even though Congo Falls came really close.
  24. That explains everything then, those are always big issues.
  25. It still puzzles me why Adventure Express was never turned into an Indiana Jones when Paramount owned the park, it's what we all think It should of been.
