For those planning to attend Coasterstock May 19-20, a Facebook group page (Coasterstock at Kings Island) has been set up for the event. Information regarding the event will be posted on the group page.

We can't wait for everyone to experience Mystic Timbers! Before your first visit of the season, please be advised loose articles are not able to be brought into the queue line area and stored on the ride platform area of Mystic Timbers. Riders will need to store loose articles such as cell phones, pagers, hats, cameras, stuffed animals, purses, backpacks, umbrellas, beverage containers, personal entertainment devices, etc. in a locker or leave them with a non-rider in your party.

Exits on the K.I. & Miami Valley Railroad haven't changed.

The details behind the switch are it was a management decision. Running both sides forward again was a return to how the ride operated from its opening in 1972 through spring 1982, which is where nostalgia came into play. Something old was new again for our guests.

A total of 811 bents were stood to construct The Beast.

There will not be a train tour this year at Coasterstock. There will be a behind the scenes photo opportunity of the train tied in with Diamondback. We've added lights on tours of Haunt mazes during the event.

If you want to be among the first to experience Mystic Timbers and find out what's in the shed, the first riders auction will provide that opportunity. Details regarding the event will be announced soon!

At check-in, all participants will be required to present a valid, active membership card for 2017 from the roller coaster club/organization they registered under in order to receive their credentials to get into the ERT sessions, lunch, dinner and behind-the-scenes experiences. All participants will also need to complete both Step 1 (purchase ticket) and Step 2 (register) to participate in the event.

Soak City Water Park will be open today.

An email was sent to everyone who registered for the event with information on where to meet for the behind-the-scenes opportunities. Park admission and a valid ID card was all that was required for this event.

Kings Island will live stream Thursday night's #KIProject2017 announcement. The announcement will begin immediately following the park's 10 p.m. fireworks show. WATCH LIVE

There are four rides open for Gold Pass ERT: Diamondback, Woodstock Gliders, Snoopy's Space Buggies and Woodstock Express. The early ride lineup will change monthly beginning June 1.
