Downloaded Google Earth, which is supposedly updated within 3 years, yet seems way outdated. So that didnt help me out any lol

Bored trying to stay up all night cause I work tomorrow night, I came across some strange information on trademarking.....i'm sure you will all correct me if I am doing anything wrong by linking and what not. I googled to see if this site was legit, and it was. Please excuse me if I have started this forum in the wrong area, not sure where I should have put it. http://www.trademarkia.com/company-cedar-fair-lp-222594-page-2-2 From the looks of it you can buy certain trademarked things that Cedar Fair has. Looking at RCDB made me want to look up their trademarks due to finding out Mantis was originally going to be named Banshee, now we have our beloved Eve at KI. Amazing what you can find out Upon further investigation it seems it has to do with something with the font and lettering?

First issue: Terrain Second issue: That would be an awfully long path that would require an unrealistic amount of expense to populate with sufficient rides, facilities, games, food stands, etc. True, maybe they don't connect but that is a much more logical then building an RMC coaster over top Banshee track and using an old SOB station. Neither of our options are likely ever going to happen. I would much rather see a long path that doesn't have much going on for a while then a coaster on top of another coaster. I don't think either is going to happen btw, I think its more likely we see the DA area be replaced with a coaster. I also think the Crypt building will become a dark ride "coaster" before any massive expansion. I know this was quoted awhile ago, havent been on here much lately, but....why don't you like coasters on top of another? I think it adds to the thrill, and you can fit more in a park. If done right, it doesnt seem too congested either.

Not sure if I overlooked the reasoning, but why are they all called mazes rather than haunts, or houses, etc. They aren't all mazes are they?

I plan on taking a trip to BGW in October, I will upload a trip report for all of you afterwards if we do end up actually going.

Fast Pass is a queue system used at Disney, whereas Fast Lane is a queue system used at Cedar Fair parks.

When I went to KI this year the operator at DB was saying "lets see who can get their seatbelts on first, 1, 2, 3, go." On FoF, there was no countdown, it was just "Good Luck" then launched us. The Bat I would have to say was the most entertaining though.

The Soak City cam is different now, DB and Banshee 2 are still gone.

We also rode BLSC, it was great as always but the fire is broken as of right now. Not sure if its fixed now or not.

Well if you think about it, how would it? There is an extra stop rather than during one stop they get off and more get on. Right now they end the ride, stop, people get off, the train moves, people get on, ride the ride. Rinse and repeat. If i'm wrong, by all means correct me. But say there are two people driving down a road, both going the same speed, one stops, lets someone out, the other doesnt, who would be further along? Therefore wasting less time during that trip. Granted the way they do it is kind of cool because here comes an empty train so people think......what happened to the people? I just think that it reduces the capacity this way though.

One other thing that would greatly increase capacity is not have two separate stations.

31MAY2014 Lets start off by saying that since last year i have tried to make it an annual tradition to go to KI once a year, and if i go more than once, or to any other park then that is even better. I'm not that great with terminology, so correct me if some details may be false such as whether a certain ride is called a flat or not. Originally it was going to just be my brother, mom, my brothers girlfriend, her son, my niece, and myself, but then 3 of my cousins decided to go as well. My mom said that she wasnt going to pay for our Fast Lane passes since she was paying for so many admission tickets this year, but on our way she decided that she would so that made it even a better day at KI. Would of liked to ride more rides than we did, but we took our time. Arrived a little after the park opened, grabbed our tickets, FL passes, then began our day. Rode some coasters and some flats that we had never ridden before. Everything was great, we rode Delirium, Viking Fury, Dodgem, AE, The Bat, FoF, Woodstock Whirlybirds, Flying Ace Aerial Chase, Invertigo, Diamondback, Congo Falls, and Banshee. Delirium was alot different this year just because of the illusion of the top swing seeming close to Banshee. Viking Fury was pretty nice, and i noticed a cool looking spiderweb on the Bow of the ship, so its nice to see spiders are helping with themeing. First time riding it. Dodgem was fun, but the ride time was very short IMO. First time riding it. Adventure Express, the statues were moving, the sound was working, but they deffinately need oiled up. The Bat had a decent line, and got to sit in the front, which was good and bad at the same time, good because of the view, bad because i got smacked with some bugs. First time riding it. FoF seemed alot faster than last year and was very intense. Woodstock Whirlybirds was very boring, and the controls/pedals should at least do something, but like i said we had my niece with us, so she had fun. Flying Ace Aerial Chase was very rough IMO and this was the first time i've ridden it. Invertigo seemed rather rough this time around. Diamondback was ridden twice, loved it as always, still one of my favorite rides. Congo Falls was fun, and deffinately get some airtime on it, some of the best i've ever experienced. First time riding it. And last but not least. Banshee. Incredible coaster. She is smooth, comfortable, fast, forceful, i can't even think of all the words that describe her, besides absolutely amazing! She is my other favorite ride. First time riding her. Rode her twice, once in the daytime, once at night. Other things to be mentioned. The Scrambler was down. Banshee went down temporarily, i'm seriously thinking that there is just a bad sensor on her because it seems as though she stopped right before her wail, and at the top of the hill. She wailed, then ran, then some empties were ran, then she was fine. Larosa's Pizzeria was decently priced and tasted pretty good. Overall, it was a great trip, next year hopefully my ride count will be up more, worse comes to worse i'll go ride some by myself if i have to so i can ride more than sit around. I have some but not very many pictures to post, i will post as soon as i can.

So...i've been wondering....is the Banshee scream as loud throughout the park now its in full force and still gets very annoying? I havent been this year, but am going on Saturday.

Is Soak City closed today? Can't see all of it from the webcam, but i know at least one wave pool is not open.

Isn't this concidered a coaster? And if so, it kinda throws out the whole "this park gets a huge update this year, next year will be a different park, etc" in the whole rumor thread then doesnt it? Never know, KI could get a new coaster year, we just have to wait and see.
