  1. I'd like to see those blueprints!!! thanks
  2. they are covered under fair use.......they do not have to acknowledge, pay or ask. There are stipulations on what is fair use or what not. However, this would fall under fair use.
  3. That would be pretty cool. But, I'd rather have the seclusion of The Beast. I just don't think it would be the same seeing something else while on The Beast.
  4. those are technically records though. but I see what you mean.
  5. primer & Flags? It starts with FL but can't make out the rest.
  6. Whatever color scheme they choose..... I'm sure it'll be one that gleams from quite a ways.
  7. I'd really like lime green or yellow!
  8. payment plans for season passes are a great option for anyone really. Season passes are already affordable especially considering the daily ticket price. It's great being able to make payments monthly, and still be able to enjoy the greatness of KI!
  9. definitely a real possibility. but I would think they'd still keep enough "landscaping" around so that The Beast is not disturbed.
  10. This is very exciting. seeing this, I would think the station would be back toward X-Base area.
  11. Adventure Express seems to be pretty accommodating as well!
  12. still looking for some showers this morning into the afternoon. Doesn't look like a total washout at this point. But it's definitely going to be a colder opening day. High's may struggle to get to the 50°F......getting some sunshine may be the only hope. Comparatively, If it's only 50°F and you ride Diamondback which can reach 80mph......it would feel like 37°F-38°F. That's pretty cold.
  13. for opening day,Its looking like a good chance of rain during the morning hours and perhaps early afternoon......with decreasing chances as the day wears on.
  14. I've studied weather for 15 years. The Ohio River does not have any influence on how weather systems track. It has more to with troughs and influences by ridging. I do agree with one thing you said though, wait till Friday to make a decision about Saturday.....and in many regards wait till Saturday to make a decision about Saturday. My mom and I had just lowered the restraints and buckled our selves in on Drop Tower one year and a "monsoon" came along. It was a very interesting ride to say the least.
  15. While waiting in line for Diamondback, I heard a guest say that the wind seekers lost one of it's "seats" while in mid flight and it flew off and hit the Eiffel Tower. The idea of this happening is not funny. But it cracked me up to think that a human being would honestly think the park would keep operating it if this happened. how crazy?!?
  16. FUNTV is of no help during the week.....but I'm sure its a blessing on the weekends.
  17. I rode Banshee for the first time yesterday and was pleased by the ride, but IMO it is nothing spectacular. I definitely wouldn't have waited in a 5 hr long line to ride it. I got there for the ERT and rode it 2 times in about 10 minutes. I also returned during the afternoon hours and rode it two more times with about the same wait. Diamondback is still my favorite ride at Kings Island.
  18. Crowds on a Monday are very light........ many rides are 10 minute waits or less........there is the occasional longer wait on a Monday.
  19. However, while you may be right, people can still get in trouble and you were still being dishonest!
  20. I'm at 0......that changes on May 12th.
  21. I'm not scared of heights, but I do say that almost every time too. The reasoning is because my mother is "scared" of heights and freaks out, therefore if it gets stuck up there I know I'm going to be dealing with a maniac. After about 10 rides on Drop Tower she finally was able to ride with eyes open and not scream.
  22. I always go through the week, I've never had to buy Fast Lane. For the most part the wait times are minimal and usually its more of a walk on status.
